Mountain getaway

The long weekend stay at the cabin was exactly what my wife, pup and I needed. Waking up to the sounds of nature and not the hustle and bustle of the city. The cabin is a lively retreat for those that just need to reset. Having the firepit and being able to sit o. The deck at night and see the stars is another perk for this cabin. The cabin overall was small and lovely but had everything that we needed to cook and just enjoy the time in the cabin. Would love to come back!

Anniversary getaway

We loved it! It was a beautiful cabin, clean and neat! Conveniently located yet very remote. Pet friendly was a bonus! Our only concern was that the couches are not comfortable sitting places. But overall very pleased! Loved the porch, the areas to walk around near the cabin, and the quick easy drive to the New River Trail. The host was amazing ! Responded to all my questions!

Blue Ridge Gem

The cabin is a true gem. Secluded and private but only a short drive to biking and hiking trails, fishing and boating sites and music venues. The cabin is nicely furnished and appears to be only a few years old. The large porch is a great place for sitting and relaxing while listening to music or reading. There are some adjacent fields we used to give our golden retriever some exercise. Everything in the cabin was in perfect working condition and the cabin was spotless when we arrived. We had mild for July weather during our stay but the cabin's altitude, shaded site, ceiling fans and air conditioning would make it a perfect respite during spells of hot summer. In the fall, the colors should be spectacular. Definitely a great place to stay.

As the Bible says in 1 Timothy 5:10 "and is well known for her good deeds, such as bringing up children, showing hospitality, washing the feet of the Lord’s people, helping those in trouble and devoting herself to all kinds of good deeds."
