Perfect beach house!

We had a blast staying at My Big Fat Beach House. The location was an easy walk to the beach and a quick drive to restaurants, ice cream shops and stores if we needed anything. The house was set up perfectly and was great for our party of 8 to all be together. We loved the back yard/pool area and putt putt. If we had any issues Sato Realty would instantly respond and come out quickly to address it. I would definitely recommend this house for your next beach vacation.

The property location, interior, decorating was wonderful! The beds were VERY comfortable which you do not always get in a rental. We enjoyed the house very much. The pool and amenities outside were great. The one problem was the hot tub did not work. Five different people did come out and the fifth got it working after playing on the side with the controls,.showed us exactly what to do but never worked again . That was very disappointing. Overall it was a great beautiful family place!

Nice home with room enough for the entire family. Nine total and plenty of space. Pool was very nice and maintained. The home was very clean and well maintained for being so close to the beach. 1.5 blocks from the beach made easy commute daily to the beach. Added bonus an additional refrigerator in the garage for additional cold storage. Added bonus there was some available beach chairs, tents etc- it’s not listed in the rental listing so you still definitely need to plan for that but was an added bonus with (several beach chairs, umbrellas and beach wagon)Property management co was great as well. Easy email and text communications.Will definitely return!

Spring Break Surprise!

MyBFBH was nothing but awesome! Our family has been coming to AMI for years, we had an another family join us and surprise for all the kiddos ( ages 9,8, 6,6 2 and 3)! So much space for our group of 10! Closets were large enough to fit pack n plays which is important for the naps! Beach access was super close about a four minute walk or a quick golf cart ride.Kids had a blast with putt putt and of course the pool!The house was equipped with beach wagon, sand toys, chairs and umbrellas. We shipped floats, water toys, beach blanket and some beach games which we left at the house for future use! We all sobbed on the day we had to leave, but can’t wait to come back to our favorite island! Until next time and thanks for a great stay!

My Big Fat Beach House was exactly as pictured! Our crew of teens and adults had an amazing stay. The layout of this house was perfect with the two owners suites on one side and three additional bedrooms on the other side. All rooms were generously sized with comfortable beds and well appointed baths. The only thing I would suggest is adding a full length mirror. The kitchen was well equipped with plenty of dishes/pots/pans etc. (all in good condition). When we weren't enjoying the beach we spent a few afternoons and evenings relaxing at the pool. Lots of pool floats were provided by the owner which was a nice bonus! *There were mosquitos so I would recommend bug spray. The putting green and ping pong table made for fun competitions. Many mornings we rode the bikes to get breakfast. They're a little rusty but work just fine. The location of this house was perfect - you could walk to many places but I do recommend renting a golf cart. The beach is just a short walk and the provided beach wagon made it easier if you don't opt for a golf cart. I would highly recommend My Big Fat Beach House to anyone! Anna Maria Island is our happy place and the amenities at this house made it even better!

We enjoyed the house. Our issues however was that there was not enough seating in living room For 10. There was barely any utensils and the pans were very worn. Very upset we were not told that the controller to the pool settings was in the house. We spent the whole week looking for it and saw it 10 min before checking out. No cleaning supplies except a broken vacuum. But our biggest complaint was the disgusting rusted beach chairs that ruined our clothes as well as the 2 broken umbrellas. This was not as advertised at all. Clogged toilets at check in. For the money we paid we expected a little better! Also if you offer beach chairs ( rusted or not) there should be enough for each person in house.

We are sorry the stay didn't meet all your expectations, but we wanted to let you know immediately after your stay the owner replaced all the pots and pans as well as the grill and beach items. Unfortunately beach items are not advertised for this home since they are hard to keep in perfect condition, but we wish you had called the rental company so we could've replaced during your stay. We created a pool instructions sheet, and it is in the house for guests to reference. Since you enjoyed the house we hope you'll give us another chance since the items in your review have been added, updated or replaced. Family Christmas Gift

A beautiful home with plenty of room and great kitchenware Very comfy and pool with spa was wonderful. Make sure to burn off grill before using. If not you may get a surprise when you open cover. Unfortunately the red tide came on again at end of week and made half of us ill. I would rent it again. Easy walk to beach. Renting a golf cart to get around is the way to go.
