Great location with nice pool

This house was perfect for a short golf trip with me and my 3 adult children as it had four bedrooms and a nice pool and hot tub. The location was close to restaurants, the beach and plenty of golf courses as well as spring training baseball.

Good Value

Interior very clean. Easy check in. Pool clean. (Pool deck needed to be weeded). Ample towels for shower and pool but only one dish towel and only three rolls of toilet paper. Overall we enjoyed our stay and it was very reasonable.

Large nice home

This is a beautiful house with plenty of space. We really enjoyed the pool, however we disappointed that the listed mentioned a “hot tub” but rather was just the same temperature as the pool with no way to heat to standard hot tub temperatures. The home seemed to be recently updated and had many nice finishes however the electrical work didn’t seem to be of great quality. One outlet was physically broken and another bathroom fan would sporadically work and then not work. The owner was very kind and offered to send a worker out to fix the outlet but it wasn’t something that needed immediate attention so we didn’t want it to happen during our stay.

Communication with host could not have been better. They were very responsive by phone, text and email. We had a couple of small issues and an onsite person was there in less than 30 minutes, even on a Sunday evening. The king sized bed in the primary suite was very comfortable. The home was very clean when we arrived. The location was very convenient to shopping and golf courses. The patio could use a deep cleaning, including cleaning the chaise cushions. The grill tools were old/rusty and the grill would not light without a lighter. The family room could have used some table lamps or floor lamps - the only light was the overhead light on the ceiling fan, so the room was either too bright or it was dark. The faux wood window blinds were clunky and some could not be raised. Overall, it was a nice getaway and the few items listed above did not diminish our experience.

First the positives … Home location and neighborhood were great. Backyard views were refreshing. The negatives … This home could be nice with some serious TLC and maintenance. I would highly recommend reading some of the prior reviews before booking as many of the reported items are still unresolved. We had some issues with the pool, extremely soiled linens on the beds and a broken microwave for the majority of our stay. Very inconvenient as the pool waterfall did not work, there were no spare linens in the home for the beds and not being able to use our microwavable foods was very hard with children in the house. Supplies such as paper products and soaps were very limited. The host said it was only a starter set which lasted the first day or two. Plan on bringing these items if you are staying four or more days. Communication with the host/owner was very difficult and almost nonexistent post arrival. The overnight on call was nonexistent. The day team did eventually get a housekeeper onsite to change linens, but we had already spent the night without bedding. As far as the microwave goes, a handyman was dispatched to the house. He verified the microwave did not work and never came back. Problems will almost certainly come up when you stay places a lot. It’s how the host deals with the issues and takes care of the guests that makes the difference. Needless to say this host needs some work in this area. As for my family, off to our next adventure.

The location was convenient for us - close enough to the bridge and restaurants but not so close we were stuck in endless traffic. The house was as advertised for the most part though we specifically asked about the hot tub vs. pool temperature and were told they were 102 and 86 degrees respectively. NOT TRUE. They are controlled by a single heater so they are the same temperature. We found the doors to the patio were not functional which was a major bummer as having those open (given the screened in pool area) would have been really nice (and was expected). Also, the pool lights do not work which was also a major bummer as we wanted to get in the pool after dark. We believe this was known but not communicated even though we repeated asked how to turn on the pool lights throughout our stay. The house and kitchen are well equipped (though no pizza cutter!). The internet (and tv since it is streaming) went out multiple times which was a significant problem. The TV on the patio is a great feature but seems to have an audio issue and was unbearable at times. We were guessing that was a slow internet issue but not certain. It would be nice to have lounge chairs options in the sun.
