We appreciate guest feedback and would like to clarify the situation for future travelers. The guest notified us of a thermostat issue at approximately 6:00 PM. We immediately contacted our air-conditioning technician and arranged for service as soon as possible. The thermostat was fully replaced and the work was completed by approximately 9:30 PM the same evening. During this time, the air-conditioning system itself was operating and cooling the unit; the issue was related to the thermostat rather than a complete AC outage. The guest was given the option to have maintenance enter the unit that evening or to schedule the repair the following day at a time that best fit their convenience. This was not considered an emergency situation, as cooling was present and the issue was resolved promptly. Regarding the sliding door handle, while it required attention, it did not prevent use of the door and was scheduled as routine maintenance. Throughout the process, we remained responsive and professional. It is also important to note that the guest demanded a refund before the air conditioning was even addressed. We take pride in maintaining our property and responding quickly to any issues to ensure our guests have a comfortable stay.
