Our stay was great. The place was clean and nicely updated. Instructions for check in and accessing the property were fantastic. Check out was just as smooth. The pictures online were accurate as well. I'd stay again.

My husband and I had the best getaway! We have stayed at Lovers Key Resort many times and this room was by far was superior by far. We saw manatees and dolphins from the balcony. Enjoyed many sunrises, sunsets, and rainbows over the water. I highly recommend! This was also the cleanest condo!

Very nicely decorated and comfortable condo! Spacious rooms with plenty of towels, bedding etc. The condo is right next to Flipper's restaurant.

Did not use the pool. The unit was nice and clean. Bed was comfortable. Kitchen had everything we needed to make breakfast, but we ate out lunch and dinner. We used the condo as a base, as we spent the days in Captive, Sanibel and Naples. Had a great time. Will come back

relaxing get away

We enjoyed the park across the street very much and the restaurant next door was so convenient as well as delicious. The pool never became too crowded. Overall we had a great time.

Beautiful spot, great view.....only issue we had is the way the building is positioned there really isn't sun by the pool until around noon. I'm sure that changes as the year goes on though.

Depending on the time of year, yes the Earth's tilt will change and therefore impact what time and how much sunlight the pool area receives. However, at certain times of the year when it's really hot, the shade by the pool is actually very welcome and direct sunlight is not needed to enjoy your time at the pool! Lovers Key

We had a wonderful stay. Our unit was clean and comfortable. Our kids loved the pool and loved that Flippers restaurant, while not affiliated with the resort was so easy and convenient. Our view of the water made us feel like we were in paradise. We also enjoyed seeing all the sea life. It was an easy drive to Naples and Sanibel which we loved exploring. Overall, it was perfect for us.

We enjoyed our stay near Lover’s Pass in every way … darn the fog! The property was pleasant, and the owners we met were friendly and helpful.Next time, I’ll put in a good word with the weather forecaster!

Unit was very clean and comfortable. The entry door had about 1/2” gap all around and we were never able to enter without putting the code in at least twice. We were also disappointed to find out that the water was not consumable which meant buying several jugs of purified drinking water.

We have checked the lock since your stay and it appears to be functioning properly. Guests typically have no difficulty entering using the provided code. We also want to clarify that the tap water is safe to drink. Unless there is a temporary boil water notice issued by the local municipality — which we are not aware of happening at any point recently — the water in the unit is fully consumable. We appreciate your feedback and are always happy to assist guests during their stay should any questions or concerns arise.

Everything was spot on. If I had to be critical about anything it would be the detail in the cleaning. Baseboards were a little dusty and some of the “clean” dishes in the cabinets still had food on them.

Unexpected remodel

Our unit was newly renovated, and we were the first guests. Some things needed 'tweeking', and our manager was always available and quick to respond and handle the issues. The ad listing statement was not accurate/updated. And the major remodeling of the building was a surprise. It was due to the damage from Hurricane Ian. But, inspite of that, we had a wonderful time. The location was great, as were the views. We would stay there again.

We updated the property description last November immediately upon notice of the construction work that was forthcoming, and the notice is still in the property description at the time of this review response. Great view! Loved everything but the bed.

This was a great condo with a spectacular view of the water and forest areas. Comfortable inside, nice rooms, but the bed was on a creaky frame and covered with a plastic mattress pad. I rustled, squeaked, and sweated all night! Of course one wants to protect the mattress, but maybe a cloth mattress cover could be put on over the waterproof one so guests don't feel the plastic right under their sheets. I have to say, though, that hiking in the state park nearby and swimming in the ocean as well as the beautiful pool more than made up for the bed issues.

Great for Short Notice

My spouse and I were able to secure this property at the last minute due to a schedule conflict. The property was very nice, very clean and we enjoyed the area! The pool area was a very nice amenity and definitely the highlight of the property. The only concern was that the room was HOT and we were asked to not turn the thermostat down. Understandable with the Florida weather but we were uncomfortable at night due to the way the sun hits the condo and heat retains inside. Since we were out and about often, this was only an issue cooling down at night. Definitely a great spot due to the short notice of our plans changing.

Hi Alyssa - we're glad you all enjoyed your stay and found the property to be clean, comfortable & accommodating! We didn't hear from you at all during your stay about the room being hot, but wish you would've reached out if you thought something may have been wrong. Residential AC units are designed to maintain a max 20 degree differential so we do request that the units not be turned below 74 - especially in the summer months. When it's 95+ degrees everyday & you attempt to run the AC units below that temperature, it's common to freeze the coils which results in no AC at all.

Wonderful

Our second trip to Lover’s Key and we’re planning our next one. The property is clean, well-maintained and very comfortable. You can explore the numerous activities near the resort or just lounge at the pool. The abundance of wildlife kept us in awe all week.

Great Lovers Key Location

The condo was very clean, beautifully furnished, well equipped. Property manager very easy to deal with. Great view of the water. Great location, away from the congestion in Fort Myers Beach area, but close enough to enjoy all the restaurants and shopping. Also a short drive to Bonita Springs and Naples. Nice pool and restaurant on the property. We had a wonderful, relaxing vacation and would definitely return.

Great location! Don’t use the hair dryer on the wall…makes a funny sound and smells hot. Fortunately, there was another hair dryer. Nice view. Good pool/hot tub. Would definitely return.

Celebrating my 60th BD

My husband and I spent 6 nights at this property for my BD. The condominium is in a great location on Estero Bay. We were very happy with the location and amenities of the property. The access to the beach was also nearby. Despite this property being built in the 1980’s it was immaculate and well kept. The condominium which is privately owned # 401 was very inviting based in its beach decor. The bed was very comfortable, it was nice to have a full size kitchen , a fridge with an ice maker and most of the commodities of home. We did find that the disposer was not working , but we did report it. A few items that would have made our stay a bit more enjoyable would have been a cutting board , steak knives and a blender. My husband and I love to grill so the added bonus of a grill was great although we ended up buying steak knives which we brought home with us. We also bought and left 2 wine glasses in the property as there was only one. One of the downfalls of the condominium is that it is located right around the corner of the waste chute. At times the odor was unbearable . Other than that, we had a very nice stay.

The views are breath taking, the proximity to the beaches & local restaurants, shopping, etc is unbeatable. We've passed along your feedback regarding the kitchen items to our operations & housekeeping teams. We've not experienced any issues with the trash chutes on each level before, but they are maintained & managed by the resort itself. Unfortunately, if someone threw away trash un-bagged, it may have caused a spill or leak inside the chute requiring the resort maintenance to attend to it. We welcome you all again & hope you'll reach out directly to book your next trip!
