Condo de deux chambres, 2 salles de bain avec accès au golfe du Mexique, court de tennis et piscine. Récemment rénové et a tout pour de merveilleuses vacances. TVHD à écran plat de 46 pouces. Grand patio fermé pour admirer les couchers de soleil spectaculaires.

Aussi longues et pittoresques que son nom l'indique, les pelouses soignées de Longboat Key, les plages de sable blanc, les couchers de soleil éblouissants et les eaux chaudes et cristallines toute l'année sont des visions de plaisir discret.

Profitez d'une vue imprenable sur la baie de Sarasota et le golfe du Mexique. L'île vit à son meilleur. Les plages de sable blanc poudreux de renommée mondiale sont à seulement 50 pieds de votre porte patio.

La région est également appréciée par la faune, de sorte que ces eaux abritent des lamantins, des dauphins et des poissons, tandis que les pélicans, les balbuzards pêcheurs et une variété d'oiseaux de rivage y trouvent refuge. Perfect for us

LBK beautiful but crowded!

We loved the property, though it is dated. The beach on LBK is beautiful and the only knock on the area is how awful the traffic is. We decided to grab lunch at a place 6 miles away and it was a 45 min drive, which wasn’t unusual. You have to factor traffic in everything! Also and almost ironically, it’s near impossible to get dinner reservations. Other than that, loved it all!

Another great vacation at Longboat Key's Covert Properties

This is our 6th visit to LBK and first to this particular unit of the three Covert properties. We leased a first floor unit of Covert II that enabled us to walk right out to the beach (100 feet) that provided easy access. The pool in Covert II is very nice and offers a respite from the sand (which was blowing some due to 12-15 MPH winds on several days). Overall the unit was in good repair and comfortable. The owner responded quickly to some emails so we were please with his responsiveness. LBK is a great vacation spot with access to other beaches, Sarasota and a host of great restaurants. Our new restaurant favorite is the Bayou Tavern (Italian and pizza); excellent authentic Italian food. Established favorites continue to be Harry's Continental Kitchen (superb), The Lazy Lobster, Drydock, and Marvista. The famous Columbia Reataurant is good but beware of the loud environment. Do rent bikes because LBK is very bike friendly.

Glad you had a great vacation. Just one correction. This is Covert III (3). Covert II is next door going north on the beach. They were built by the same developer, so they look similar.

Everything as promised...

And nothing more. First floor walk out to the beautiful beach. The condo itself needs serious updating. The place is so full of mirrors it feels like a funhouse. If you're older and a bit overweight, like myself, you will be constantly reminded of it. The furniture is old, smelly and uncomfortable. The bed was comfortable. The shower drain is slow, so you end up standing in a puddle of dirty water. Laundry is on the 2nd floor. Word had it that this is the only condo in the building that doesn't have its own. Considering the rather exclusive nature of the surrounding neighborhood, one would expect better upkeep.

Sorry for the problems you experience during your stay. I can't do anything for your body image. Being on the first floor is GREAT! But there are two drawbacks. Your so close to the beach the sand doesn't have time to fall off your feet, gets tracked into the condo and ends up clogging the shower drain. If you were standing in a puddle of dirty water, that indicates you were one of them. Second problem is the first floor condos don't have a dryer exhaust, Distance to roof too far. So, whoever told you this is the only condo without a dryer was incorrect. I can't do anything about the physics of dryer lint.

Beautiful and relaxing

The location of this property was wonderful. You can look out at the gulf from the living room and master bedroom. The owner was easy to contact. The condo could use a little updating and maintenance. We used the toaster the first morning and realized we could only safely use one slot because the heating element is sticking out. I know these things will wear out from so much use periodically. There is a little bit of a musty smell in both bedroom closets. But it wasn't enough to bother my allergies. The kitchen was equipped with everything been needed. It could use a flipper/spatula for the grill. The grounds are gorgeous. It was a great place to relax for a week and get quality family time and it is literally steps from the gulf/beach. I would definitely stay there again.

Loved our stay on Longboat Key!

We couldn't have asked for a better week away with our kids. The condo is right on the beach and we watched beautiful sunsets from our lanai every night. The pool was a perfect temperature, and we enjoyed the easy access to both the pool and the beach. The only thing that would have made it better is having faster wifi in the condo, but other than that small detail it was a perfect stay. Thanks for making this a wonderful week for us with our family at Longboat Key!

Excellent Experience and Location

Although this condo has all the amenities you'd want, admittedly there are newer condos, bigger condos and more deluxe condos on LBK, but none with a better location or beach side experience. It's a wonderful place. We've repeated for five years now and plan on a sixth. Highly recommended.

Wonderful condo on the Gulf of Mexico. Comfy new living room furniture made it very nice for us to watch the big screen TV when we were tired from walking the beach. I'll stay here again.

Another Sun Soaked Holiday

We live in cold dreary Copenhagen and look forward to our 3 weeks of sun and white beaches at this condo each year. This was the fourth stay at this condo and we've already already booked our 2018 vacation. We did have a couple of cool days, its December, after all. So its nice to be able to close of the Lanai with the outer sliding doors to be able to lounge in comfort while still enjoying the view of the beach and ocean. Owner needs to update their VRBO website with new photos showing the new furniture, 4K television, and glass top range.

Longboat Key is a beautiful place. Great beaches, shopping, and great places to eat !

The condo area is beautiful, very well kept. Great location. However this condo isn't completely renovated as described here. Yes there has been work done but more to do. Living room furniture is VERY dirty. If you're okay with the refrigerator having open jars of food from previous guest and other open food in the cabinets this my be your place. We felt like we walked into someone else's personal space.

Sorry you were disappointed. I send every renter a welcome document that states you might find various condiments in the kitchen. If they bother you, throw them out. I have a number of repeat renters that appreciate not having to buy ketchup, mustard, salad dressing, sugar, etc, for a short stay. You are renting a home with VRBO, not staying at a hotel. And if you do stay in a hotel, there will be open condiment bottles in the restaurant.

My parents bought this condo before it was built in 1975. I have spent every vacation since on this wonderful island. Its very peaceful and my way of escaping the grind of everyday life.

Condo is just 15 units of remote owners. Most times there are only three to five units occupied, so no contention for the tennis court, pool, or beach. Very private.

Near private beaches. LBK is all vacation homes, so not many people on the beach on any given day.
