Welcome to the Blue Mill House, a charming retreat nestled in the historic town of Rossville, GA, just a 5-mile drive from downtown Chattanooga. This lovingly renovated former mill workers house is set in a modest, quiet neighborhood, offering a peaceful escape. Enjoy being within walking distance of local gems, including the famous John Ross House and serene duck pond.

The well-equipped kitchen has everything you’ll need for meal prep, including a stove, oven, refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker and a single-serve Keurig. Additionally, you’ll find a toaster oven, blender, and waffle maker with complementary mix and syrup to ensure an easy and delicious start to your day!



For younger guests, the bunkroom doubles as a playful retreat, featuring a TV and Nintendo gaming system stocked with classic favorites like Legends of Zelda and Super Mario. Please note: the bunkroom is adjacent to the kitchen and does not have privacy doors.

Learn about Rossville’s rich history, once a bustling community fueled by Peerless Woolen Mills, founded in 1905 and the primary manufacturer of blankets during World War II and the largest single-unit mill by the 1950s. While no longer in operation, today guests can enjoy a peaceful retreat while still being close to all the excitement Chattanooga has to offer.

SAFETY: We prioritize the safety and security of our guests and are committed to providing a safe environment. A camera is installed at the entry door and is intended to enhance the safety and security of our guests.



PARKING - There is a private driveway with ample room for two cars; please do not park in the road.



STEPS – There are steps leading to the front entrance; this is a single level home, with all living spaces, bedrooms and bath on the main floor.



PET POLICY (DOGS ONLY - 2 MAXIMUM): We warmly welcome responsible pet owners to bring well-behaved, house-trained furry companions. Please clean up after your pet both indoors and outdoors (doggy bags provided) and refrain from allowing them on furniture. For the safety of your pet and others, we require all pets remain under full supervision at all times and local laws require them to be on a leash when outside of the fenced area. Please disclose your pet at the time of booking to ensure proper cleaning for future guests (additional pet fee applies).
