Nestled in a quiet, private wooded area, this peaceful retreat is perfect for embracing the laid-back island lifestyle and timeless Old Florida charm. Whether you’re boating, fishing, kayaking, or bird-watching, you’ll love the abundance of outdoor recreation right at your fingertips.

You’ll be staying in a 34' XLR Nitro Travel Trailer, thoughtfully decorated, clean, and well-kept for your comfort.

Two bedrooms with a total of three comfortable queen beds

New A/C unit (installed March 2025) to keep you cool after your day of island fun

Extra indoor and outdoor seating for relaxing and enjoying the peaceful surroundings

Outside & Location

This tucked-away spot offers the tranquility of nature, with occasional visits from friendly local peacocks and other wildlife. There’s plenty of open space for parking, including room for a boat or trailer (no additional charge).


Guest Access & Notes

Guests have private access to the travel trailer and surrounding outdoor area.

Free parking is available on-site, including ample space for boats and trailers.

Wi-Fi and basic streaming access are available (signal strength may vary due to the natural setting). If reliable internet access is needed during your stay, we recommend upgrading your plan to include a hotspot.

Please note there are beehives located on the property. Guests must remain at least 20 feet away from them. By booking, guests agree not to hold the owner liable in the event of a bee sting.

This camper was a great place to stay for our vacation. Instructions on Vrbo to reach location were good. They included instructions on how to light the pilot light on oven, and asked for only common sense details when staying in a camper. If you are used to camping, this is a great option for staying in the area. Beds were comfortable. Adequate cooking equipment to make meals.

Everything was nice, clean. Just didn't like the raggedy street Lollie Rd. we had to drive down to get to the entrance gate. But everything else was great. The snacks and amenities left for us was thoughtful. Will do a return visit. Thank you very much

Peaceful stay in a beautiful setting!

The Nitro trailer has nice amenities and is set in a peaceful park like setting. The location is close to marinas and kayak launches if you enjoy being on the water. And there are plenty of local restaurants on the island to enjoy.

My girlfriend and I booked a last-minute weekend getaway. Having never stayed in an RV, we decided to try something new. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience.Upon arrival, the AC was already on, the trailer was cool, and water and snacks were left to welcome us. We packed our own sheets as you never know what you are walking into. There was no need to change a thing as the RV was spotless and very comfortable.Our hosts, Eric and Sarah were incredibly kind and accommodating. They live on the property in a home that’s far enough away to feel private, yet close enough to respond immediately when we had questions, needed help planning a day trip, or even needed firewood.We drove an hour from our home in Bonita Springs, but it felt like glamping on a private island a thousand miles away. The property is home to peacocks, chickens, roosters, and even a bee colony for harvesting honey. One morning, they surprised us with fresh eggs and honey, especially thoughtful as it’s a new venture with limited supply.The ferry to North Captiva Island was less than two miles away, and nearby Matlacha offered an outdoor market, colorful art booths, and some of the best ribs we've ever tasted. One night we stopped by a local seafood market and picked up five pounds of stone crab claws for 50, then enjoyed them at sunset on a nearby dock.At night, we sat by the firepit, sipping wine, roasting marshmellows under the stars. It was the perfect getaway.
