Notre maison, affectueusement connue sous le nom de 'La Joya del Mar', est trÚs privée et sûre. Situé dans un quartier calme à cÎté du célÚbre hÎtel Punta Roca qui est connu pour sa vibration douce et ses excellents fruits de mer et son bar.
Il est situé à plus de trente minutes de l'aéroport et à environ quarante minutes de San Salvador.

You can hear the waves inside the house. A beautiful and peaceful house to stay with family or just enjoy it with your spouse. Sergio and his wife are very nice and Monty the owner always responds to all my questions. The perfect place to stay. Thank you for everything.

Nice place to relax for a few days and enjoy the ocean breeze. Privacy is ok, there are other people living here but they stay away. Not a place for kids, my 7&10 yr old kids were not able to get to the beach because of the Rocks and other debris. The near market & restaurants was a big plus. Place was not very clean, also we had tiny baby ants all over the beds that it was a bit uncomfortable for kids to sleep. Over-all it was ok. Thank you

The place was very beautiful. We enjoyed the simplicity and the location the most. With a great caretaker looking over things, it made our stay very enjoyable and carefree. We did score a huge swell which made it a bit difficult for my 12 year old to surf because of the rocks. This is at no fault of the property, but something that should be noted. We really enjoyed the stay.

Beautiful location. Good amenities (but no TV... which ended up being OK). The beach directly at the house is stony (literally medium and large sized smooth rocks), but there is a sandy part a little walk away, just gotta be careful because walking on the stones is uneven. Sergio and Sandra were very helpful. The house is also close to a shopping center that has food/restaurant options, pharmacy, clothing, grocery and laundry... also close to great surfing beaches. My family and I had a great time!!

Better than depicted in the photos!

Beautiful location that would be fun for a large group. Beach at the area isn’t great for swimming, but there is a small pool. A couple of restaurants are nearby.

Place was welcoming and enjoyed the beach access and the pool. Place was safe and had restaurants nearby that were delicious. Would stay again in Playa Cocal.

Amazing

The property was amazing the view is gorgeous and it was nice sleeping to the waves crashing. The house keepers were very attentive and respect your privacy. DEFINITELY RECOMMEND.

Loved it!

This property was amazing! The rooms have great A/C, the beds are comfy and the view is beautiful. The caretakers were super helpful, but not intrusive at all. We very much enjoyed our stay and would absolutely return.

Slice of Paradise

Everything during our stay was wonderful. The house was as described - neslted in a quiet neighborhood right on the beach. The waves crashing loudly lulled us to sleep each night. The house managers did not speak English, luckily my Spanish was sufficient enough for us all to understand one another. There IS hot water in the upstairs shower and the pool is cooler than the ocean (so refreshing). The kind caretakers brought us mangoes that freshly dropped off of the property's trees and they always greeted us with a smile. We felt safe, welcomed and FULLY relaxed. Thank You

Una verdadera joya de mar.

My family enjoy every hour at this cozy house. The front beach view is what I love it. My son was swimming. You can also go for a nice surfing time if you like. Everything's was a 5 min distance (market, restaurant. Gas dtation, e tc)

The place was cleaned and cozy perfect for a small group. Sergio was very attentive to our needs. Having the restaurant Neto’s closed by was a blessing. We enjoyed our stay.

relaxing place to vacation

The property is beautiful. we enjoyed the pool and the ocean. The best part for me was the upstairs deck overlooking the ocean- there were chairs and a hamick to sit and listen to the waves. we could also watch the surf boarders do their thing from the deck. It was a litte treaterous getting down to the beach due to all the rocks.

If you are looking for beach this is not your place it has TOOOOOO MANY ROCKS CANT GO IN WITHOUT GETTING HURT!!! but the ranch has a nice pool Sergio is very helpful the restaurant’s food is ok overall is a very nice ranch to see the waves and spent some peaceful time.

Awesome Beach House Experience

This is our 3rd stay at this property and it is always excellent. The house is clean, love the layout, love that rooms have A/C. Caretakers are extremely nice and helpful. Had Sandra cook for us a couple of times and she helped with laundry also which was a plus. The beach was beautiful. Pool and grounds were well maintained. The two gas stations/convenience stores just walking distance from the house was extremely convenient. There is a restaurant just a couple houses from the house Netos that had some awesome food. Overall extremely happy with this property and will keep coming back on our future trips.

Perfect beach spot for chilling

When you think of a charming, rustic but comfortable beach house, think of this one. The property is private with a delightful, clean pool. The downstairs kitchen/dining area faces the ocean with full on waves and ocean breezes as you dine. Fun little bar too for those margarita moments. Love the fact that the living quarters are upstairs overlooking the beach and ocean. We were greeted by a whale splashing in the distance! Hello whale! Lovely balcony up top for hammock relaxing and surfer watching. Far enough from La Libertad to be a nice, quiet, clean beach but close enough for groceries, restaurants etc. We visited a number of beaches along the coast and loved our little slice the best. Caretakers Sandra and Sergio where there for us when we needed them and not when we didn't. Consider bringing in massage therapist and neighbor Linda. She brought her table and set up facing the ocean in the dining area. It was pretty darn glorious.

Wonderful time and place

This is a two story (fully stocked) house with ample space RIGHT IN FRONT OF THE BEACH. When we say "in front" of the beach, we mean 2 steps away from the house patio to the actual sand on the edge of the beach. It may not be fancy but it is kept in a very clean and organized condition but still with the warmth of HOME. Bedrooms have good air conditioning and excellent strong fans in the high ceilings for the livingroom. The house keeper- YOU WON'T SEE HIM OR HAVE CONTACT WITH HIM UNLESS YOU CALL FOR HIM; Sergio is a very responsible guy who helps with anything you need. He made our stay "problem free" since he knows everything and everyone in the area. We had all the happy times anyone could ever have in this beautiful and comfortable house. We will definitely recommend and return. We had an unforgetable/ wonderful time!

Stellar Vacation!

Step onto the property and you feel as though you have been transported to a tropical oasis! It is too perfect it almost does not seem real. The grounds are meticulously kept from inside and out. The staff are so wonderful. The weather was fabulous and it was a relaxing vacation. We are east coasters so we were very humbled but the waves we were met with, but this retreat is more than just for surfing. There is not a soul on the beach so it was so relaxing to read, meditate and escape life's every day chaos. The owners were very involved with triaging all questions and most important the most romantic wedding proposal ever!! They worked collaboratively with their property manager to make it all happen. I am so gateful to all the people involved and it was an amazing surprise!!! I will never forget my time in El Salvador. The people are so nice and helpful, despite our high school level spanish speaking abilities. My one recommendation is brush up on Rosetta Stone before you go!! The American dollar goes far but you want to tip generously because these folks work very hard to accomodate all your requests. My "newly fiancee'" and I will be returning again in the future with our kids!! Thanks again Pepper, Monty, Linda, Sergio and Sylvia for a STELLAR VACATION.
