Lakeside resort. This cabin is surrounded by woods for privacy and is about 200 feet from the lake. The cabin has a kitchen/dining/living area, bathroom with shower, toilet and sink, and outdoor space including picnic table and grill. Full use of resort beach and dock area, complimentary pontoon boat hours, fishing boat rentals available, complimentary use of canoes, kayaks, SUPs and paddle boat (lifejackets provided with all watercraft), campfire area with fire wood, swing set, rec room located on the resort property with pool table, ping pong, books, and board games, and acres to explore. Art gallery and painting classes available. Activities include fishing, paddling, swimming and more.
Cabin details: Bedroom 1 has a double bed. Bedroom 2 has a queen bed and a set of bunk beds. This cabin sits higher than the others, with steps to get from ground level to the cabin. Close to the creek and waterfall.
More details: All bedding is provided as well as cooking equipment, dishes, hand and dish soap, and a kitchen towel. Bring your own towels, paper products, condiments, and food. Ice is usually available to purchase at the lodge. Internet access. Bath towels available for $40. Check in at the office to receive a key.

What a great place! And to make it better, the property manager, Tracy and the owner, Joe, are wonderful people. So accommodating and friendly. Our luggage was delivered two days later, and both Joe and Tracy brought over personal clothing for us to use. It is a great getaway if you are looking for quiet and nature. Will definitely return!

Great hosts. Loved the availability of pontoons, kayaking etc, cozy and beautiful wooded area. Lake Jasper was Georgous and 15 minute walk to boundary waters area where a beautiful lake and nature was amazing.You needed to bring pretty much zelch for the cabin as all cooking supplies were provided. Comfy beds. Took an art class one evening which was great fun. Ely was about a 20 minute drive into town with lovely stores as well as the international Wolf Center, Dorothy Miller Museum and much more.

We love it there, joe and sally were wonderful. The place was so peaceful too and we love the lake. We will come back often.

Such a beautiful and peaceful place to stay! Relaxing, lounging by the waterfall just steps from the front porch or taking the trail down to the lake to see the beautiful view really helped to put us at ease and was good for the soul! The availability of pontoon boats, kayaks, canoes and stand up paddle boards plus life jackets to use made exploring the lake convenient and easy. Everyone we encountered was super friendly, kind and accommodating. They seem to have thought of everything as we felt we could stay on site and not worry about a thing. Propane tank for the grill was freshly replaced upon arrival and wood for a small smores fire was stocked and ready upon request as they recently lifted burn bans. Wi-Fi worked great when the young adults felt the need to stay connected or entertained at times. Youngest even raved this was the best trip yet which means a lot! I'm thankful we found this cabin and were able to make the trip.

Rustic Cabin Review

Host met us at the entrance of the property and led us to the cabin which was great, otherwise it would have been tricky to find, especially at night. Very clean cabin, awesome sound of the rapids just outside the cabin was great! Hosts were very nice and welcoming, overall it was a great experience!

great setting

Wanted to be closer to the lake. Cabin was okay. Double bed needs a new mattress and lights for reading in bed. with few outlets, we appreciated finding an extention cord. We moved the bed so we could get out of either side. Hope that's okay. Please read all this as constructive, not complaint. We will recommend your place.
