New Construction With a Lovely Ocean View!!!

Start or end your day in awe with the magnificent colors of the sunrise and sunset. Enjoy lounging on the big deck with the gulf wind blowing over you, as you enjoy your favorite beverage.

There is plenty of room in and around this spacious, well-appointed, comfortable home to gather and make memories with family and friends. When not lounging or having fun at this beautiful retreat, rent a golf cart (Rick's Rentals) or walk across the road, (cautiously), to get to the beach!

There are modern showers, and a washer/dryer for your convenience, when you return. Please rinse off prior to entering! Thank you.

Some areas not too far away that you may be interested in: Nates Restaurant, (they stay busy and may not answer the phone) Seven Seas Grocery, (small grocery store in Jamaica Beach, with gas station) The Sandbar Grille Waterman's RestaurantIf you will be need a large amount of groceries, we recommend stopping at Walmart or Kroger on your way in, as this location is on the far West end of the island, (yet under 30 minutes to downtown Galveston).

BEACH ACCESSORIES IN STORAGE AREA UNDER HOUSE FOR YOUR ENJOYMENT
These are the items that are currently in the storage area downstairs:

Please note the elements/salty air, sand, etc., can be harsh on beach accessories, and some items come and go. This is what we currently have in stock in the storage area.

Unauthorized late check-out will incur a penalty of $150 + tax
If available, fees applied for early check in and late check out being up to 80% of the nightly rate depending on time requested
Quiet hours 9 pm-9 am.
Vendors have access to the homes on their scheduled day. Service days have the possibility of changing.
A laundry bag will be dropped off 1-2 days prior to departure. No need to worry, please leave it where it has been placed.
This rental property is not used for Nuisance Parties or Unlawful Gatherings. 6 adult maximum plus their dependent children are allowed at the property.
For your safety and security, there may be public-facing cameras installed on the property.

We do our best to ensure guests have a 5-star experience. Guests will be provided with a start-up supply of household items such as laundry soap, dish soap, paper towels, toilet paper, etc so that upon check-in you do not need to run to the store. We do not provide salt, pepper, oils, and spices. If you are staying longer than a few days you will need to purchase these items. Thank you!

Important Note: We want you to enjoy your stay to the fullest, Please be aware amenities may break or not work during your stay and we ll do our best to accommodate you. May an amenity not work or fail during your stay we will do our best to make it right, and we can refund up to 10% of the affected nights to make it right. You have to let us know at the time of notice so we can do our best to remedy the situation.

The house was nice, it was warm when we arrived but cooled down fast. had to switch the AC to auto cause it was just set to on so it got really cold in there. The storage area had a bunch of stuff for the beach, chairs, sand castle stuff, a wagon. also had a grill outside. Didn't have any issues except for the place next store had a sewer pipe leaking and stunk up down below. The stove & oven were sensitive and would turn on if bumped up against it, but everything else was great.

Relaxing!

The property was only minutes of a drive away from the beach. The house was so clean and had everything we needed. Our family enjoyed staying here and would love to make it back soon! It was perfect for family and kids! Lots of yard for the kids to run around and play!

Absolutely Loved It!

My family and I absolutely loved our stay! We loved everything about it! The house was clean and well appointed. It had everything we needed. We were also impressed with the clean and quiet neighborhood and how close we were to the beach. All of this for a great price as well! We are definitely making plans to stay here again.

Great location

This house was a great location from which to visit one of the quiet pocket beaches outside of town. There was plenty of room for three adult couples and two kids to play, cook and relax in. The spaces were clean. And now I know why it is called Seagle Shack.

Offers Everything

Such a nice, clean, prefect location within a short walk across to the beach. The home is well maintained with a great place beneath the house to hang out and play even when it rains. Nice neighborhood. Patios are great, nice views, peaceful.

We had a wonderful week at your property. The property was just as it showed. And being so close to the ocean was wonderful !!!! The only issue was the door in master bedroom and bath, they both stuck and made so much noise when opened. Otherwise a 10

Arrived at check in time to a home that was still filthy from previous guests, trash out, floors filthy, laundry hadn't been picked up. Cleaners showed up shortly after our arrival and finished so it was ready for us. Wish we had received communication it wasn't going to be ready at the time of check in as it was evident the crew was aware...loved the close access to the beach, bedroom arrangement worked well for our family and the wagon, chairs, umbrella and beach toys were perfect for kid entertainment. Didnt realize it was a charcoal grill (gas would have been preferred- would have brought our travel one if we had known). couldn't find pot holders in the kitchen but overall worked well as a home for our family getaway.

Great place!

This was a great place for our family to stay. Plenty of room for our big family. We enjoyed how close to the beach it was and the beach was beautiful and not busy. The only nusense was the mosquitoes! Not the host's fault as it had rained for weeks but just a warning, check the forecast. We survived and left some bug spray! We loved that there was a ton of stuff to take to the beach including chairs, a canopy, wagon, etc. There was also an ice cream truck who visited the beach each day! Bonus! We would stay here again.

Nice and spacious home close to the beach!

Nice and clean home! Very spacious. Happy with the beach proximity. Would have like to have known that construction was happening right next door. No one notified us and I was disappointed at that. We were provided with a partial refund and I suggested updating the online photos. For us it was more of a privacy issue. Pleased overall!

COZY AND QUIET AREA

Nice home, close to the beach. Beds were nice and almost everything we needed was available. There is a little store right down the street (crazy expensive but closest. Nearest real store is 18 miles on the main seawall rd) either stop before you check in or bring things with you. Things you will need to bring Toilet paper. Paper towels. Laundry soap. Dish soap. Beach towels. They have some beach toys (we left a lot of ours there this trip too), beach chairs, beach tent and wagon to pull things.

The pictures that are listed are not an accurate representation of the property. The pictures made the property (including the outside area) look clean and modern when in reality there was bird poop on tables, the grill was ancient and rusty, and the shed that was supposed to be full of beach toys was picked over. Upon arrival I immediately noticed a bad smell inside the house. It smelled like mildew or something rotting. I immediately opened up the windows to air out the place. As I walked around the home I noticed dirty trim around the floor, water on the floor of the bathroom outside the shower that had not been wiped up, what appeared to be coffee spilled down one of the bedroom doors, etc. Out in the kitchen, the stove vent above the stove also appeared to have been moved as I could see a square stain on the ceiling from where the previous stove vent had been placed. The beds in the bedroom were also as hard as a rock. Little details make a big difference, especially when paying as much as we did for this place.

Great Place

Loved the beach house, it had everything you could need,, great not busy beach area across the main highway. The drawbacks are 20 min drive to Galveston, beds not super comfy, and some ants we sprayed from time to time. But overall, relaxing and a great mini vacay.

Rest and Relaxation

We enjoyed the stay. We had some gnats that were a little annoying. Overall , it was a great location to the beach, and privacy. Shower downstairs was great for getting sand off. I would recommend this house and would stay there again.

Wow!

What a beautiful property! It made my dream of living in Galveston come to life, even if only for a few short days. We had a fantastic stay. I loved beginning and ending my day sitting on the balcony watching the waves. I hope the house is available when we come back in October!

Wonderful Location

What a beautiful home & wonderful location! The home is located just a few streets from a Walk/Drive path to the Beach. The Beach is peaceful and not crowed! The house was clean & cozy. We had issues at 1st connecting to the Internet but the Property Mgmt company was very helpful & we were able to get connected. The supplies that are at the house are very limited so I'd recommend bringing your own Paper Towels, Dish Washer Pods, & Trash Bags. Additionally, there is a Keurig machine so bring your K-Cups. They do provide a Wagon, Beach Toys & Chairs, however bring your own Beach Towels. Overall it was a fantasic stay & we'll come back to it!

Just amazing!!

Place was super clean! Kitchen amazing! I had everything I needed except we only had 1 roll of toilet paper And got charged a hot tub fee but there was no hot tub in each bathroom but other than that! WONDERFUL
