The Grand Hacienda

Welcome to your retreat in Terrell, Texas! This spacious 3-bedroom, 3-bathroom home comfortably sleeps up to 10 guests. It can accommodate 3 couples and up to 8 kids under 12. It has 5 beds and 3 sofa beds, making it perfect for families, groups, or business travelers looking for comfort and relaxation, (we can always arrange for more beds or additional space in the guest house listed with name the Cabin, If privacy is important to you, many guests choose to book both properties. This gives you exclusive access to the pool, so you won't have to share any outdoor spaces with other guests. )

This is a 40 acres rustic country ranch, a very peaceful place. We have a 3-acre lake and several ponds with lots of fish, surrounded by beautiful natural scenery.
A little piece of paradise where you can breathe fresh air, hear the birds sing, and enjoy fishing. There is plenty of space to walk among the trees and take in the surroundings. If you are lucky, you may spot some local wildlife such as small wild cats, pigs, and eagles. On the property, we have domesticated animals: ponies, horses, deer, chickens, and dogs.

Inside, you’ll find an inviting living space, a fully equipped kitchen to prepare your favorite meals, and comfortable bedrooms to recharge after your day. Whether you’re gathering for a special occasion, enjoying a weekend getaway, or planning a longer stay, this home provides everything you need.
Step outside and enjoy the highlight of the property—a beautiful in-ground pool, perfect for cooling off on warm Texas days or relaxing poolside with friends and family. The home sits on generous land, offering plenty of outdoor space to explore or unwind.

Private Jacuzzi Access is available for an additional fee of $150 per stay.
To ensure the jacuzzi is fully heated and ready for your arrival, guests must notify us at least 24 hours before check-in if they would like to use it.
Please note that advance notice is required, as heating the jacuzzi takes several hours 24hrs.

If you are looking for private/exclusive use of the pool, a minimum 2-night stay is required, subject to availability and provided the other house is not already booked. If you would like exclusive use for just one night, both houses must be reserved.

The Grand Hacienda house is set right next to the lake, it has a barbecue wood grill, and patio tables with chairs by the pool.
If the house is reserved for 2 nights, the pool is exclusive. NOTE. There will be an extra charge for each person over 6 adults and 8 children over 12 years old. More than 10 adults is considered a party and is charged differently. The septic system cannot support larger groups, so portable toilets may be required. Please let us know at the time of reservation.

The property is tucked away in a quiet area, yet still within easy reach of Terrell’s shops, dining, and local attractions, and only 30 minutes from Dallas—offering a great balance of privacy and convenience, just 10 minutes from Buc-ee’s, Walmart, Ross, Academy, and a variety of restaurants, Texas Zoofari Park is only 5 minutes away, Splash Kingdom Paradise Island 15 minutes away, first Monday on Canton 20 minutes.
