Nice place

Nice little house, very close walk to the beach. Great central air, beautiful porches to sit on both front and back. Nice neighborhood, and exactly how it’s listed.

Nice place and had all the accomodations that we needed.

This is a nice place and had what we needed for space and ammenities. Only negative would be that the price could be a little less.

Great for families and great price

Great value, wonderful size for family and in-laws. My only complaint is like other reviewers, beds were not the most comfortable. But overall very clean and had lots of kitchen supplies. Across the street from a great kids park too!

Great House just blocks from the beach

Great location to the main areas of OC. This was a quiet and neat neighborhood. The house was clean and we had no issues. Thank you so much!

Nie place, great trip to Ocean City

It was a great time. Easy to get too. We enjoyed the restaurants nearby and down the other end of Ocean City. The only things that I would request is to make sure the outside shower is on and have blankets for the bedroom that fit the beds.

Nice house in good location

House is in nice location: walkable to beach and restaurants but in quiet residential area. The backyard was good for walking dogs but the fence is very low and riddled with mosquitoes. Although there is an outside shower, it’s not turned on so we had to trudge the sand in. The house is pretty spacious but could use a deep cleaning. We will be coming back next year.

A fantastic experience! I will be staying there again. But...

We loved this place! it is exactly as it appears in the pictures. It is cozy, comfortable, wonderful, and actually mostly quiet,,, (get that to you in a second). I am going to rent again. The location is incredible! We take long walks, and within 3 min, you are walking on the beach. The neighbors are super friendly (get to that in a second). Fenced in yard was wonderful! Mind you, the fence is about 3-4 feet high, so if you have a jumping dog, this may not be the place for you. I have dogs that cannot jump a 4 foot fence, so all was good. I loved the place, very comfy sofas.

Very nice, spacious, comfortable and clean.

Beautiful home. It was very roomy and comfortable. The cable needs to be upgraded for older people like us who don't want to go out and party and would rather stay in. I will not reserve through vrbo again though. After you have given them your credit number for payment of rent, other charges pop up from vrbo. They are very deceptive not giving you full details before you give them your credit card. I will book directly through the local realtor next time.

Major updates

The house was in a great locations and was a great size but the house has obviously not been updated since the 70's-80's. It was dark, dingy, and smelly and not at all what I want in a beach rental. The dishwasher was not in working condition. A nice property that could be so much more. The price was not what I would pay for a house like this. I've sayed in much nicer for less.

Cute house in quiet area, but encountered a few issues

My husband and I stayed here previously off-season and thought the house would work well for my family of 5, so we booked again this year for my family's summer vacation. The neighborhood is quiet and close to shopping and restaurants and very close to the DE border, so visiting neighboring resort towns was a breeze; however.... we had issues with the house this time. The outside shower didn't work, which is ridiculous considering that it's a beach house and there will be sand that gets tracked indoors in the summer. There was no heads up that it didn't work either (even though the rental company was are of it) we discovered the problem ourselves after a day at the beach. Second problem was that we never did get onto the wifi network, the password just wouldn't work. Third issue: the setup of the bedrooms was odd: There are two large beds in the master bedroom, there are two twins in another bedroom and one queen size bed in the 3rd bedroom. Why are there multiple big beds in the master? That's kind of strange since most married couples don't share their bedrooms with other adults. It would have made more sense if there was one big bed in the master and the other rooms each had two beds. And lastly, not a complaint just a recommendation... there is a DVD player, but no DVD's available and many of the cable tv channels aren't available so we didn't get much use out of the televisions. All in all, these issues didn't ruin our vacation, but I don't think we would return to this particular property again.

Very Nice Place

This place fit all our needs. There was plenty of room and it was very comfortable. It was in a nice location and worked out great. I would say the only thing we didn't like about it was we thought the price was a little high given the timeframe we were there, which was May 1st to May 5th. Just over $900 for basically 4 days. (3pm Sun to 10am Thur).

Perks Place!

What a fabulous house! It was clean and roomy and modern. The backyard was lovely, I mean pristine! The neighbors were friendly and the neighborhood was quiet and clean. We locked out and rented next to Halloween fanatic who put on the most incredible light show every night we were there with all kinds of talking creatures and moving monsters in his front yard! The walk was short to the ocean and the neighborhood was full of other dog loveis their dog lovers. The holiday representative but a representative who took the keys at the end of our stay was informative and friendly. We signed up for the same place, the same time next year!

Overall the property was ok. Cleanliness was good. Wish there was a working vacuum or broom. Only family complaint were all the beds were hard and made sleep difficult. Property did need some repairs.

Nice little house in a quiet neighborhood

The only thing I would change would be the beds. They were too firm and uncomfortable, which made for sore backs the next morning for both my husband and I. The addition of a mattress topper would do wonders. Other than that, the house was perfect for our needs. And the neighbors were really nice.

Very nice

The house was very big and very clean! The furniture was very out dated and beds was not very comfy. We love to cook and the cookware really needs replaced and need more cookie sheets. We couldn't walk to the beach with our small children but was ok with out them. The park was awesome and was just across the street. Very quiet and peaceful. Overall it was great. Just needs updated.

Beautiful house, nice quiet area

The house was beautiful. I want those kitchen counters. Short walk to the beach. Nice little fenced in yard was great for our 2 dogs. Hop the bus to the boardwalk. We did drive to Fenwick beach one day with the dogs. They had a blast playing in the water. Would definitely recommend and will hopefully going back again next year.

Place was okay, rental company was not

The property was nice, and with two dogs, I greatly appreciated the fenced in back yard. While small, it kept us from having to walk the dogs on leashes in the middle of the night. However, I am NOT happy with the rental company charging me more for the pet fee than what is listed on several websites for this property. The detailed explanations I've tried to submit aren't getting accepted, so in short, the company called hours before check in to collect the pet fee and insisted I pay $100 more than what was stated online. As I was on my way to spend the weekend in OC, I had no choice but to pay, thinking I could show them later the inaccuracy and get a refund on my credit card. No such luck, despite me sending them links to several sites where the pet fee is listed. I wouldn't mind staying at this property again, but only if I can book through another method.
