Welcome to Sun Kissed Retreat located in the gated community of Gulf Terrace. Enjoy your slice of paradise located in the heart of Destin. This comfy one (1) bedroom condo has everything you need to enjoy your beach getaway. Walk to restaurants, Big Kahuna's water part, The Track Family fun center and a ten-minute walk to the beach access by the Back Porch restaurant.

Gulf Terrace property is in the heart of Destin on 18 acres with three (3) pools (one heated in winter) tennis courts, a lake for catch & release fishing, BBQ grills and picnic areas.

This bright open condo overlooks the lake and has new kitchen appliances. This one bedroom has a Queen bed, and the living room has a queen couch fold out and one futon for extra sleeping areas. The kitchen has seating for four and there is a table overlooking the lake to enjoy breakfast & coffee to start your day!

This condo is located on the 2nd floor (sorry, no elevators at this property) and there is no balcony, but the windows do overlook the lake. Hi-speed Wi-Fi, Key-pad entry lock, no contact check-in. Detailed info and instructions will be provided the day of check-in after housekeeping is finished sanitizing and cleaning the condo.

Kitchen has a new Keurig with coffee and condiments and everything you need to make your own gourmet meals after a long day on the beach. Parking passes are in the condo. Please fill out and return the attached portion to the HOA building (after hours box) located by the tennis court & pool at the back entrance off airport road.

There is beach access at The Back Porch Restaurant, 1740 Scenic HWY 98, if you would like to walk (.08 mile walk).
Henderson Beach State Park is located at 1700 Emerald Coast Parkway in Destin. The Cost is $6.00 per vehicle (2-8 per vehicle). There is also beach access by Pompano Joe's in Miramar Beach #49, 2375 Scenic Gulf Drive, Miramar Beach.

It was an absolutely wonderful stay! Its a super cute beachy stay. Everything was very clean and contacting owner was very easy and super responsive for whatever questions we had! Very easy to navigate and SUPER close to literally everything you wanna fo in the area. We are so grateful and cant wait to come back to Destin now!!

If you’re thinking about staying here…DONT!!! RUN!!!

So we arrived very late (11pm) & was very tired so really didn’t pay attention on Uber ride there, got in & went to bed. The next morning I went for a walk/run & realized it wasn’t the ideal location I’d have ever picked but we would make it work as we didn’t plan to be there much since we had activities planned for our whole trip. Went to take a shower when returned from walk/run….no cold water in bathtub. So contacted host & maintenance came quickly and advised this had happened before but had yet to be properly fixed & if happened again just tighten the screw. Anyway I can do that, whatever…not a big deal. So that evening myself & 17 yr old daughter went to dinner and when we returned the door would NOT open. The code worked as it turned green but lock just spun & door was still locked. After 2+ hours of trying to contact host & 1.5 hrs on phone with VRBO, I was advised to call the authorities to keep us safe for the night since ALL hotels were sold out. So here it was after midnight & myself & 17 yr old daughter are walking and taking Ubers to any hotel we can find on google that has a possibility of vacancy. We did finally find one & got to bed around 130am. The host did finally contact me at 7am the next morning. She did someone out with a master key to open condo & it took a long time because the lock was completely broken. We were able to get in, get our things. Yes, this was she trip we will never forget but it’s definitely NOT for good reasons!!!

Sun Kissed

Quaint condo, nicely decorated with all the conveniences of home. The complex is quiet and well kept with nice pools and picnic areas. The bridge over the lake offers good fishing and turtle watching. Definitely happy with our stay.
