Aloha! E komo mai. Nou ka hale. Bienvenue dans notre maison de Big Island, ou hale (prononcé HA-LAY). Situé dans Volcano Village, et à quelques minutes du parc national des volcans d'Hawaï, nous vous invitons à faire de notre maison entièrement autorisée votre maison loin de chez vous lors de votre prochaine visite.

Hale Hubner Treehouse Cottage est parfait pour les amis, les couples et les petits groupes ou les familles qui souhaitent découvrir le mode de vie du volcan à son meilleur. Nous offrons également une merveilleuse retraite pour Kama'aina qui cherche à s'évader. Confortablement niché dans la luxuriante fougère hapu'u et la forêt tropicale d'Ohia, vous trouverez que notre emplacement offre un confort relaxant et de l'intimité tout en vous gardant à proximité des nombreuses attractions à proximité de la grande île.

Notre maison est un confortable studio de 750 m² construit sur mesure avec 1 lit / 1 salle de bain pouvant accueillir confortablement 2 à 4 personnes. L'intérieur chaleureux en bois de pin juxtapose naturellement les vues vertes d'une végétation luxuriante visible depuis toutes les grandes baies vitrées de la maison. Une terrasse ensoleillée spacieuse vous accueille à la sortie de la maison et offre une excellente vue sur les étoiles vibrantes pendant les soirées sombres.

Un lit principal est clos pour votre intimité, et un futon queen-size dans le salon principal se déplie pour fournir un deuxième lit pour les voyageurs supplémentaires. Le salon / chambre à coucher principal est situé au deuxième niveau de la maison et n'est accessible que par des escaliers; par conséquent, nous ne sommes malheureusement pas accessibles aux visiteurs handicapés qui empêchent la montée des marches. Pour les familles qui souhaitent rester avec nous, nous préférons qu'il y ait au moins un adulte par enfant, si possible.

Nous nous efforçons de fournir une alternative chaleureuse et accueillante sans stress mais abordable aux grandes stations. This was a truly peaceful little cabin near some great natural areas. It's as if someone took the north woods cabins that I'm used to and transformed it for a tropical locale. We would love to come again, as we barely scratched the surface of what this area has to offer.

The host was very welcoming. He let us know ahead of time the dryer was not working. When we had issues connecting to the WiFi he responded very quickly The house was clean. We enjoyed the different coffee making selections. The heating pad on the bed was a nice addition. Plenty of towels and beach towels.

This is a charming, rustic "treehouse" nestled in the rain forest. The host was amazingly communicative and helpful. You can tell that the family actually spends time here as the kitchen has everything you meed to cook a real meal. We visited in December, and you do need to get that fire going and turn on the heaters ASAP. The bedroom area looked a little cramped in the photos, but it actually felt fine in person.

Beautiful property within a serene rainforest, very close to the Volcano National Park. The interiors are cozy and very well articulated, perfect for a couple, small family or small group of friends. The full kitchen is a bonus. The information provided by Matt both online, via message, and in the handbook at the cottage were to the point. t pretty much covers all you need to know to have a great and comfortable stay. Parking within the property is neat and easy, and entry and exit is smooth (just make sure to follow the shared instructions). The outside deck is an added perk, to just gaze at the stars at night given the low light pollution, or enjoy your morning coffee to the musically choir of various rainforest birds. Couple of things to note: 1) The last 5 minutes of the roads leading up to the cottage is very rough gravel narrow paths. Drive Slow. In addition, because of that and nature of these roads (narrow/unmarked), would recommend reaching here before dark on day of arrival. 2) As rightly noted in the instruction, it does get quite chilly here. However, as long as you are prepared clothing wise and get a hang of using (or already know how to use) the wood stove, that should not be a problem, but still worth noting. Overall, this was a wonderful and fun stay, would stay again if opportunity comes.

Volcano Village Stay

The house was so beautiful, clean, organized, surrounded by trees, ferns and birds. Couldn’t have asked for more, the host thought of everything. Close to Volcano Nat’l Park. The best was we saw an eruption on our last night there!! Would definitely stay again.

Treehouse near Volcano

The treehouse is a wonderful tropical retreat minutes from Volcanoes National Park. It is located in a quiet neighborhood where wild pheasants roam and the stars are lovely at night. The house itself is very comfortable, and it is easy to feel at home.

We are Tara and Matt Hubner. We come from Texas but currently reside in Colorado. However, our hearts reside on the Big Island. We purchased our house in 2011 in hopes that we will live there permanently one day. We try to return as often as possible, but gladly open our home to you when we cannot be there to enjoy it.

The National Park and the volcanoes of the Big Island hold a special place in our hearts. We love all that the park has to offer in its natural wonders. The town of Volcano is nicely situated adjacent to the park, but there is also so much more to do nearby that it makes for the perfect location to enjoy the Big Island. We love the beaches and the snorkeling/diving all within the distance of a short drive. We love the diverse nature of the people of the area and the aloha spirit that they truly share with those who don't try and bring the mainland go-go-go attitude with them. We love the nearby markets that you can find on a daily basis. We also enjoy the shops and modern amenities of the nearby towns and Hilo. It's hard to beat the cool weather at 4000 ft elevation. So whether you're interested outdoor activities, peace and relaxation, or restaurants and shopping; there's everything one needs within just a quick drive from here. All this plus the fact that there are little to no crowds makes it our favorite place in the world!

Voici ce qui rend cet hébergement unique

One of our favorite things to do is drive out at night to the park. It's only a 10-15 minute drive to the crater rim from our house, and the views of the glowing caldera are mesmerizing. We try to go out every night that we can, and often there are people playing music or dancing hula for Madame Pele, and this makes it quite an experience. We've found that on clear nights it is possible to see the glow from Kilauea from our lanai and from the back of our property. We enjoy ordering takeout from some of the nearby restaurants and dining on our lanai under the stars.
