Situé dans Volcano Village, et à quelques minutes du parc national des volcans d'Hawaï, nous vous invitons à faire de notre maison entiÚrement autorisée votre maison loin de chez vous lors de votre prochaine visite.

Hale Hubner Treehouse Cottage est parfait pour les amis, les couples et les petits groupes ou les familles qui souhaitent dĂ©couvrir le mode de vie du volcan Ă  son meilleur. Nous offrons Ă©galement une merveilleuse retraite pour Kama'aina qui cherche Ă  s'Ă©vader. Confortablement nichĂ© dans la luxuriante fougĂšre hapu'u et la forĂȘt tropicale d'Ohia, vous trouverez que notre emplacement offre un confort relaxant et de l'intimitĂ© tout en vous gardant Ă  proximitĂ© des nombreuses attractions Ă  proximitĂ© de la grande Ăźle.

Notre maison est un confortable studio de 750 mÂČ construit sur mesure avec 1 lit / 1 salle de bain pouvant accueillir confortablement 2 Ă  4 personnes. L'intĂ©rieur chaleureux en bois de pin juxtapose naturellement les vues vertes d'une vĂ©gĂ©tation luxuriante visible depuis toutes les grandes baies vitrĂ©es de la maison. Une terrasse ensoleillĂ©e spacieuse vous accueille Ă  la sortie de la maison et offre une excellente vue sur les Ă©toiles vibrantes pendant les soirĂ©es sombres.

Un lit principal est clos pour votre intimitĂ©, et un futon queen-size dans le salon principal se dĂ©plie pour fournir un deuxiĂšme lit pour les voyageurs supplĂ©mentaires. Le salon / chambre Ă  coucher principal est situĂ© au deuxiĂšme niveau de la maison et n'est accessible que par des escaliers; par consĂ©quent, nous ne sommes malheureusement pas accessibles aux visiteurs handicapĂ©s qui empĂȘchent la montĂ©e des marches. Pour les familles qui souhaitent rester avec nous, nous prĂ©fĂ©rons qu'il y ait au moins un adulte par enfant, si possible.

This is a charming, rustic "treehouse" nestled in the rain forest. The host was amazingly communicative and helpful. You can tell that the family actually spends time here as the kitchen has everything you meed to cook a real meal. We visited in December, and you do need to get that fire going and turn on the heaters ASAP. The bedroom area looked a little cramped in the photos, but it actually felt fine in person.

Wonderful 'treehouse' in the jungle, in a quiet, rural neighborhood yet very close to Volcanos National Park.The cabin had a well-equipped kitchen [including different coffee makers for those serious coffee drinkers], bottled drinking water, and was very spacious and open with floor to ceiling windows to make you feel like the jungle was inside. There are no window coverings but it wasn't an issue for us as the next-door house was a bit away. Plus, you could then tell when the volcano was erupting as you could see the orange sky/glow inside the cabin!!Great for two [though might be too cozy for two couples as the bedroom and bathroom walls don't completely go up to the ceiling]Best part was the heated mattress cover for the cooler nights. We never used the fireplace and found the wall heaters sufficient to take the chill off the cabin when needed.So close to park, it was easy when getting up in the early morning hours to check out the volcano and then come back to get more sleep before heading out for the day.Will stay here again.

Volcano Village Stay

The house was so beautiful, clean, organized, surrounded by trees, ferns and birds. Couldn’t have asked for more, the host thought of everything. Close to Volcano Nat’l Park. The best was we saw an eruption on our last night there!! Would definitely stay again.

Treehouse near Volcano

The treehouse is a wonderful tropical retreat minutes from Volcanoes National Park. It is located in a quiet neighborhood where wild pheasants roam and the stars are lovely at night. The house itself is very comfortable, and it is easy to feel at home.

Good location close to N.P

Biggest advantage of the house is the short distance to the N.P. The house itself could be a little bit more cleaned. Also the bed is not very comfortable. But all in all we had a good time.

Great place to stay when visiting Volcano National Park

Location, location, location is what gives it 5 stars in our mind. Pretty cool cabin, being raised as it is makes it seem you are staying in a jungle. Plenty of extra blankets and the wood stove works great. All of the basic necessities, clean and comfortable. Being so close to the park it allowed us to hike around during the day, go back to the cabin for dinner and a break and go back to the park later in the evening after dark to view the volcano off of devastation trail.

Great location

House was clean and had everything that we needed for our two night stay. Once we found the house, it was an easy 5 minute drive to/from Volcano National Park entrance. Enjoyed having dinner at Volcano House, picking up lunch at Rico's Taco Shop and made-to-order subs at Kilauea General Store that we brought to the park. We will be back..

Quiet and peaceful

This was a wonderful place to spend a few nights! It is quiet, peaceful, and roomy. The bed was the most comfortable we found on the entire island and the kitchen is well stocked.

We are Tara and Matt Hubner. We come from Texas but currently reside in Colorado. However, our hearts reside on the Big Island. We purchased our house in 2011 in hopes that we will live there permanently one day. We try to return as often as possible, but gladly open our home to you when we cannot be there to enjoy it.

The National Park and the volcanoes of the Big Island hold a special place in our hearts. We love all that the park has to offer in its natural wonders. The town of Volcano is nicely situated adjacent to the park, but there is also so much more to do nearby that it makes for the perfect location to enjoy the Big Island. We love the beaches and the snorkeling/diving all within the distance of a short drive. We love the diverse nature of the people of the area and the aloha spirit that they truly share with those who don't try and bring the mainland go-go-go attitude with them. We love the nearby markets that you can find on a daily basis. We also enjoy the shops and modern amenities of the nearby towns and Hilo. It's hard to beat the cool weather at 4000 ft elevation. So whether you're interested outdoor activities, peace and relaxation, or restaurants and shopping; there's everything one needs within just a quick drive from here. All this plus the fact that there are little to no crowds makes it our favorite place in the world!

Voici ce qui rend cet hébergement unique

One of our favorite things to do is drive out at night to the park. It's only a 10-15 minute drive to the crater rim from our house, and the views of the glowing caldera are mesmerizing. We try to go out every night that we can, and often there are people playing music or dancing hula for Madame Pele, and this makes it quite an experience. We've found that on clear nights it is possible to see the glow from Kilauea from our lanai and from the back of our property. We enjoy ordering takeout from some of the nearby restaurants and dining on our lanai under the stars.
