Wake up to the sound of the Loons and water lapping and have coffee looking for the Bald Eagles

Adorable Bear Island gem with spectacular views. Lovely cottage with nice deck off the open living space, a good sized kitchen, dining and living room. 2 nice sized bedrooms on the main floor with a 3/4 bath and upstairs are 2 more nice bedrooms and a half bath. Swim, canoe, kayak or sail in the glorious crystal clear waters of Lake Winnipesaukee and experience the magic of Island living in this private location. Come here and sit by the outdoor fire pit and watch the moon rise or cozy up to near the wood stove in the living room. Bear Island has lots of trails to explore and even a church that is like out of a fairy tale.

Dirty underwear and bed had been slept in

Upon arrival our first impression is the owner had just left as if he were coming rite back. Dishes overflowing in the strainer dirty clothes including underwear in both bathrooms, owner personal effects everywhere and trash in cans and on the floor. Not to mention the toilet was dirty and hair/toothpaste in the sink. The king bed had been slept in and recovered with the comforter. The queen bed just had the sheets balled up under the comforter so we had to make the bed.. we spent the better part of the first evening just cleaning. Tried contacting host several times with no response. With all of that said the location and view were beautiful.
