This picturesque Hamlet affords access to fishing off our private beach or on boats out of Montauk, whale watching on boats or from the beach, water sports, hiking on the endless beach and trails, or horseback riding at the nearby oldest operating ranch in the country. Conveniently located to the Block Island and Newport RI ferry service as well as convenient transportation from NYC (East Hampton Airport, MacArthur Airport, Southampton Heliport, luxury bus services and the Long Island Railroad).

• Smoke-free and pet-free facility.
• Prior to checking in, primary/main guests must complete the online pre-arrival via Charge Automation. This requirement is important for us to gather your travel-related information and ensure that you are well-informed of our guest rental agreement.
• A $250 security deposit will be collected prior to your check-in via Charge Automation. You will receive your security deposit back if there are no issues or damages reported during your stay and after you check out. Damage amounts in excess of the security deposit will be charged to the guest.

Open and Honest

The property was in a great location. Walk to the beach. The unit we stayed in was also very well organized, and mostly clean aside from the floors needing a good mopping, they were at least debris free which at least kept the ants at bay. The huge shower was a plus! A couple of suggestions, blackout curtains or blinds would be helpful for people who are hoping to get a restful sleep during their vacation. The blinds were completely transparent (light filtering blinds) and let in a lot of sunlight. Needless to say, we were up when the sun was up and didn’t get much of a restful vacation. Second, while the sleeping arrangements looked very beautiful, and well maintained, both sleeper sofa mattress and main bedroom mattress were very uncomfortable. Investing in a memory form mattress topper is an inexpensive way to make a more comfortable stay for your guests. The patio was also very well done however it was not utilized since there wasn’t an outdoor grill. It would have been nice to have had dinners outside on a grill so that would be another suggestion, to invest in an outdoor grill. The decor was also very nice but a lot of it was not functional in terms of storage. In small spaces, utilizing the limited space you have is key. I’d rather have had more functional storage rather than decorative pieces throughout the unit. With that said, our stay went well enough with most days spent on the beach. Please invest in blackout curtains and mattress toppers.
