This is the only cabin on the property, so you’ll have the whole place to yourself. We just upgraded the deck, so while the photos are still catching up, trust us, it’s even better in person. Perfect for morning coffee, golden hour hangs, or stargazing from the hot tub. Updated pics coming soon!
The Catskills Mountain House is a safe haven, a retreat for families, friends and lovers to come and unplug, reconnect, relax and return home feeling renewed and reconnected. Where couples fall in love all over again and new memories are made together!
Winter is one of the most magical times of the year to watch the snow fall from the warmth of the cabin with scenic mountain views! From hiking, trails, ski slopes and tubing to wineries & breweries, antique shops, eclectic and historic quaint towns. There's truly something for everyone!
Picture this… As you drive up to the property, you’ll pull up to rolling hills framed by snow covered majestic mountains, greeted by the crisp mountain air, and the warmth of a cozy cabin. Enjoy roaming our 8 private acres, picturesque sunrise/sunset views and mesmerizing star gazing as day turns to night. Spend cold winter evenings cuddling up by the wood burning fireplace or telling stories and roasting marshmallows by the outdoor fire pit or relaxing in the hot tub after a long day of skiing. In the evening a cozy bedroom with a queen size bed and 2 separate loft full size beds are perfect for kids and couples alike and is suitable for up to 6 people.
Wake up to the smell of coffee brewing and hot pancakes on the stove in our fully stocked kitchen- pots and pans, waffle maker, toaster oven, stove, pizza stone, grilling utensils, Keurig, spices and so much more!!
Slip into your robe provided for you as you sip on coffee or tea and indulge in optional private cabin massage services provided by licensed therapists (additional fee applies), adding an extra layer of relaxation to your retreat.
We are in a mountainous area with lots of hills. During the months of Dec-April four wheel drive or all-wheel drive with good tires is a must!!

I’m Umi and this is my husband Bill and our 2 lovely girls Mia and Kira. I’m the face behind the camera, marketing, vision and guest interaction and he is the guy who handles the finances, maintenance and all of my other honey-do-lists. Mia and Kira love getting involved with some of our projects, have learned how to make the perfect s’mores and enjoy exploring God’s nature! Our family loves traveling, trying new restaurants and spending time exploring the great outdoors whether we're in the mountains or at the beach..
Bill and I are simple people with BIG dreams of traveling and owning a few rental properties. In the summer of 2018, we purchased a vacation home in Wildwood Crest, NJ at The Crest Beach House on a whim and became hosts. During this time, I had found one of my passions in hosting and have learned so many things about the hospitality business. In November of 2021 after a lot of dreaming, searching and praying we purchased our cabin The Catskills Mountain House.
We bought both of our properties for our two daughters to grow up with and when we’re not here enjoying it, we like to share it with others. Owning a cabin and beach house was something we could have only dreamed of and now we are sharing that dream with you!
We are so thankful for this path God has led us on and it’s truly a privilege to have you as our guests — Whether you are looking for a place to getaway, relax, unplug, explore or celebrate something special, we hope to have the privilege of hosting you sometime!
