This is a newly renovated home ready to be enjoyed. Have a young child? We have a pack and play and bumbo available for use. Hate lugging your stuff up all the stairs of a beach house? We have a cargo lift ready for use. This is a family-friendly property that will meet your needs and more.

You'll enjoy access to the whole house, including the outdoor gathering spaces. Grab a private moment in one of the hammocks or start a game of corn hole or bocce ball for some fun. It's all yours to enjoy!

Spacious layout with room for privacy

We stayed with our two boys, 7&10, and it was a perfect spot. We could have easily included a grandparent or additional couple. Each room has its own bathroom, and the split level provides privacy and makes the most of the square footage. Just a short walk to the beach, we were so grateful for the wagon included, and both our boys are already asking to go back. Thank you for sharing your peaceful space with us!

Great Experience, from start to finish!

This home is an ideal place to stay for a family or group gathering. Our bookclub of 8 women spent a couple of nights here and found it to be perfect. The location is away from the city in a community right on a lovely beach, which was an easy 5 minute walk from the house. The house itself is in excellent shape and super clean. It’s nicely furnished and decorated with homey touches that we appreciated. The kitchen was well equipped with all the dishes and cooking utensils normally needed and an unusually well-stocked spice rack. The lift for our luggage came in handy, too. There is ample seating on the decks and even under the house, where there is a grill and a hammock too. Access was easy and check-in and -out was seamless. Communication with Traci and Tony was fast when we had a question. I have zero hesitation in recommending that you choose this home for your vacation.

Great location and set up for a weekend at the beach

The set up was great for our two families with children. Having two masters w/ bath plus a third bathroom was very welcomed. The kitchen was stocked with everything we needed and the deck space was huge and a great place to unwind after a day at the beach. Can't beat the 5 min walk to and from the beach. Would recommend!

The Perfect Getaway!

I just spent a few days at Don't Be Jelly with 7 of my favorite people. The house is beautifully decorated and fully equipped. The kitchen had everything a cook would need and all of the drawers and cabinets were labeled, saving loads of time for just relaxing! There are outdoor spaces on every level with rocking chairs, hammocks, a fire pit and an outdoor grill. I will be returning - soon, I hope!

Relaxing stay in a very comfortable and stylish beachhouse

I spent 2 nights here with my bookclub friends, and we had a great time! The house is very beautiful, with lots of areas inside and outside that are great for visiting. It was so nice that each bedroom had a designated bathroom, as well as one downstairs for easy access when we were outside. I loved the style and colors - calm blues and greens - pretty artwork, and comfortable furniture. The kitchen has everything you'd need to cook up a meal. We enjoyed having our breakfast out on the main deck. I say "main" because there are two more decks, which you can access from the bedrooms - so nice! It took just a few minutes to walk to the beach, which was delightful!

Don't be Jelly is the cutest house on Galveston Island. With 3 bedrooms and 3 baths, 8 of us stayed very comfortably! Although not ON the beach, it is just a short distance to walk to the beach. Great amenities!!! Highly recommend this place and we will be back soon, I hope!!! Patti

Fabulous place to stay

Beautiful Beach House Getaway

Our family of 5 opted for a last minute getaway on the coast to meetup with family. Traci was very responsive getting us booked. The house has a nice clean exterior with a welcoming porch as you enter upstairs. Make sure you head up empty handed and send down the luggage elevator for all your treasures. It made short work of hauling kid & wife accessories. The inside was simple and clean. Every room feels recently updated. This place was perfect for our family to crash after a long day in the sun. Each bedroom has balcony access. The setup feels perfect for two families able to squeeze kids into a trundle bunk room. Both primary rooms have large private baths attached. Very nice. Each capable of accommodating a pack-n-play. We did not cook. That said, the kitchenware is nicer than any beach house I've experienced. Great experience! We will definitely be book marking this house for future trips. Thanks for the memories!
