Great location within walking distance of everything! A boat ramp right around the corner and just a few minutes walk to the beach. House is super clean. Kitchen has all the amenities and beds were comfortable. Communication with our hosts was excellent!

The cottage was very clean and comfortable. Indian River was located in the middle of all of our site seeing locations. We enjoyed the beach at Burt lake which was just a couple of blocks away, and the River was even closer. Nice and quiet location. We ran out of propane and notified the host and within 30 minutes there was a new tank delivered and installed on the grill. We highly recommend this property and enjoyed our 6 day stay!

Charming Two Bedroom House

House was really clean and comfortable and had everything we needed! Walking distance to ice cream, restaurants, Burt Lake Beach, and fireworks!

Great internet! Comfy furniture.

We were pleasantly surprised at the great internet speed and connectivity. We also liked the big sofa and recliner for lounging and napping. Location is close to town with the pinehurst bar located two lots away. For the price it’s much better than a tiny cabin in town.

Easy to find, owner gave excellant directions. Close to shopping, dinning, and Devoe Beach, which was a lovely crystal clear lake and clean park. The water pressure in the house was fantastic. The home was cute, clean comfortable, and quiet. I stayed in the master and the bed was so comfortable. My friend slept in the 2nd room and she said she slept the best she's slept in a long time. I would absolutely stay here again.

Musty smell. No toilet paper to even get them started. T V didn't work. And I think the beds should have been made . Not a bad little place...otherwise.

Unfortunately you were visiting our part of the state during the worst time of the wildfires from Canada and our neighboring states. The smoke smell and haze were terrible and it definitely created a horrible odor. There were multiple rolls of toilet paper under the kitchen sink, due to limited storage in the bathroom. The TV works fine, I was just checking it out after your review. I wish you would have called or messaged me and I could have explained that there are two remotes, one turns the TV on and off, and the other remote runs the apps. This is also mentioned in the welcome guide. I have had excellent feedback from other people and am unsure why you had a bad experience. I did notice the TV cord may have come loose on the back of the TV. It must have been bumped.

Fishing Trip

My daughter and I take a fishing trip every year in northern Michigan and this place is a great place to stay. The next time I am in the Indian River area this place will be the first place to look at for availability. It is between Burt and Mullet and within two blocks of multiple places to eat and get ice cream. Sara responds quickly to any inquiry. The house is comfortable and clean. There is parking for multiple cars and room for a truck with a boat. Great location.
