Annual Thomsen family holiday

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Overall we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. There were a couple snags quickly addressed. We love being in Beachside where my sister resides. It’s been an annual visit for 39 years. The cottage where we stayed was pleasant and clean and next door to the one rented by my son and family.

Girls Trip

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We have such a wonderful time on the fall get together. The house was amazing. Beautifully decorated and everything you needed. In a quiet neighborhood so if relaxing is what you have in mind, this is the place. Close to the beach and the access was concreted and made it easier for us older gals to get there! Would love to come again. I recommended this to a friend for the next weekend, but it was already booked.

We enjoyed the screened in porch so much! It is very cozy which makes it a great place to enjoy morning coffee:) Lovely neighborhood. Hope we can do it again next year!

A wonderful home away from home

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This home was absolutely gorgeous. It was very homey, with all the amenities you would ever need. We have stayed in many different places when vacationing on Isle of Palms over the past 20 years. This is a new favorite. The location is convenient to restaurants and shops, and just a very short walk to the beach. I would definitely come back.

Family Beach Vacation

This was a great location for a family beach vacation. We had three boys that were 6 years old and younger and we had a blast. The neighborhood was very safe for little kids to walk to the beach (i.e. very little traffic) and it was a very short walk to the beach. House was very cozy and perfect for a small family. Really enjoyed the screened in porch in the back to hear the ocean and get the sea breeze at night after the kids went to bed.

We love the house and everyone at Island Realty is kind and easy to get along with ! Shout out to Dustin who made a few maintenance visits - he was awesome!

Since we stayed there last year, they fixed a couple of items that we noted needed repair demonstrating a desire to take feedback into consideration. The home is within one block of the ocean and is within an easy walk to the nearby street with restaurants and shops. We can recommend highly.

It’s proximity to the beach is great as we walk it almost daily. It’s within walking distance to the grocery store so very convenient. The people at Island Realty are friendly and helpful.

One of the bedside lamps needs new switch3. Kitchen faucet needs repair4. Coffee maker was dirty with coffee grinds and pretty much unusable Otherwise, the home was beautiful and we very much enjoyed our stay.

The Great Escape (from Covid)

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We really enjoyed our stay at this rental unit. It is conveniently located to the beach by a nearby path. It's in a quiet neighborhood yet conveniently close, by walking or car, to several very good restaurants (five at a minimum). The home itself is nicely laid out with the master BR and Bath on one side of the house and the two guest BRs and guest Bath on the other side. There is a kitchen table, a counter, and a dining room table to enjoy meals at and a very nice sized living room with a good TV. There is also a good sized screened-in porch with comfortable furniture and a separate unscreened porch to use. while you can't quite see the ocean, you can hear it. We had a couple of maintenance issues on the day of our arrival but the staff at Island Realty were very responsive to our calls and fixed the issues promptly. The kitchen appliances were in good order and there were plenty of dishes and silver. The only functional negative was the carpet. It could stand to be replaced but it was serviceable. We would recommend this unit based upon location and reasonable pricing. We would also stay here again,

The house could have been a little cleaner. We were given a pool code at check in but found a sign saying it was closed for the season. Overall we enjoyed our stay.

Great Vacay in IOP

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We loved this house, especially the screened-in porch on the back. We read books out there, played board games, drank morning coffee, and listened to the birds. It was our favorite place. House was clean with one exception—the shelves in the pantry were really dirty. They need a really good scrub down. We bought food from Harris Teeter’s so we could eat-in (due to pandemic). We found everything we needed in the kitchen in regards to cooking utensils. Under normal circumstances, we would eat out a lot and not even use the pantry, but given the current pandemic and taking precautions, we really needed the kitchen and pantry to store food. That’s the only reason for 4 stars instead of 5. We cut up the Harris Teeter brown grocery bags to line the pantry shelves we used while we were there. Loved the washer—it’s huge. So we were able to wash a lot in one load. Location was fantastic—beach was just a short walk (5 minutes). Overall it was a wonderful week. We wish we could’ve stayed longer.
