PAPAGO PLACE - Spacious 5-bedroom house in South Scottsdale

HUGE HEATED POOL, RENOVATED 5 bedroom/3 bath home in south Scottsdale. Minutes from Papago Park, Hole in the Rock, PHX Zoo, Camelback mtn and Tempe Town Lake, 5 miles from the airport & a few miles from Old Town Scottsdale. This 2,100 sq ft home has been redone from top to bottom. Updates include LVP flooring, tile in all baths, quartz counters in kitchen & stainless appliances. Lots of outdoor space w/a large covered patio w/TV & outdoor dining!
This home has been completely renovated. Everything has a fresh coat of paint, new beautiful flooring throughout the living spaces, bedrooms, hall and kitchen. Bathroom have new tile surrounds, tile floor and beautiful fixtures. The pool has also been completely redone - notice the beautifully resurfaced pebble tec!

You enter the home into the front living room with an attached dining room, down the hall are 2 guests rooms and the primary bedroom with its own attached bathroom. One of the hall guest rooms also has a king bed. The other hall bedroom has direct access to the 2nd bathroom (which is also shared with others). Off of the dining room is the kitchen and then the family room with a fireplace and access to the amazing back yard and pool. Off of the family room is access to a shared bathroom and the 4th bedroom which is sometimes called the "Arizona" room. The Arizona room has a queen bed, desk for working and tons of windows and access to the back yard and patio.
From the family room you have access to the garage, the laundry room and bedroom #5, which we call “The Bunk Room”, The Bunk Room has a queen bed and a queen over queen bunk bed. It has it's own bathroom and access to the pool area.
Outside you have a huge, covered porch that has a couch, 2 side chairs, 2 footstools & table. Plus an outdoor TV ready to watch the big game and a dining table with room for 10 people. Not to mention the HUGE, heated pool, 6 lounge chairs, 3 Adirondack chairs and bistro set.
There is also a 2 car garage that you will be able to use. Including a 2nd 'community' fridge available for you to use.
We know you're going to love this space!
Pool can be heated to 82 degrees during cooler months for $75/day.

This property looks exactly like the photos. There is plenty of space and the beds are very comfortable. Everything was well stocked. Our host was very attentive and available. We had the pool heated, which was necessary at the time, to be comfortable in the water. The heater is an added fee, stated in their property write up. Would absolutely stay there again.

Our group of 6 non-profit volunteers were in Phoenix for a conference. The Papago Place was perfect for our needs. Large comfortable common spaces inside and outside on the backyard patio to meet and relax, a well-equipped kitchen and a grill outside for making meals, and the place was very clean. We hope to come back next year!

Let me start by saying the owner was incredible with communication and did the right thing by refunding the booking. Unfortunately the house during our time had a major cockroach problem. I should have known as soon as I walked in bc there were numerous sticky traps around the house intended for bugs / roaches. It wasn’t until my family was going to bed that the real problem was realized. Roaches in nearly every bedroom. I woke up to my 2 year old crying in her crib only to find one in there too. I messaged the host and told her it was unacceptable and we were leaving immediately. She said that she wasn’t aware of any problems. It feels like this owner has multiple listings in the area and isn’t paying attention to her properties but letting a 3rd party handle cleaning and upkeep instead. Either way, in the current state, this place is inhabitable and should not be listed for rent. She did the right thing and refunded the booking.

Cameron, we are so sorry that you had this experience in our home. In the week prior to your arrival, my handyman did a walk through, we had a house full of guests (their review is online) and our cleaning lady cleaned between guests. None of them mentioned this issue to us. We had an exterminator come the day you left and he found that we had an exterior water leak that had caused the pest issue. The water leak has been repaired and the house has been exterminated and treated to keep the pests away. Once again, we are so sorry that you had this experience.
