Great stay for large family gathering

We had a great stay for our adult cousins reunion. The home was spacious, comfortable, and very clean. Perfect for relaxing and catching up. The host’s suggested packing list was incredibly thorough and helpful. It’s in a cute part of Lake Harmony, with restaurants, shops, and a friendly community nearby. Would definitely recommend.

Our stay was fantastic at aspen. The house was just right and my family especially loved the kitchen. It was such a great experience and calm atmosphere. I would definitely recommend going for your next vacation.

Good house for entertaining

House was clean and comfortable. Lots of room for people. Hottub, pool table, and speaker system were awesome. Would staybhere again.

College families ski weekend

This house was great. Wonderful location, great size, comfortable, had everything we needed. Great space for gathering and enough space if anyone wanted slip away for more quiet time. There isn’t a single thing i could gripe about. We loved our 3 nights here.

Beautiful setting

Enjoyed the tranquil setting of the cabin, had plenty of room for our large yearly family reunion. Lots of laughter, activities and hot tubbing. Spacious kitchen, but could have used a second refrigerator in the basement for drinks. Had to rearrange the furniture a bit to all be able to sit together. Would definitely come back for a return visit.

Bachelor Party

Great space for a group of guys celebrating a bachelor. Everything was awesome the only knocks I would give were the terrible wifi and 1 roll of toilet paper per bathroom. Definitely could’ve used that information before getting there.

Absolutely Gorgeous!

This property definitely met all of my expectations for my birthday trip. It was clean and spacious. There were 15 of us and we didn’t feel like we were on top of each other the entire weekend because everyone had their own space. I had one issue with the plumbing the first night, but it was resolved almost immediately because the property manager was timely in their response.

Beautiful property

Everything was great with the exception of Wi-Fi issues. We spent Thanksgiving weekend and enjoyed cooking and the home. The only issue was trying to watch football on the Wi-Fi TVs. The Wi-Fi kept failing and although we thought we had it figured out it was very inconsistent all weekend. Most people are not going to rent this home to watch tv so don’t let that keep you away. All in all this place was beautiful and perfect in location.

Lake Harmony retreat

This home was in a beautiful wooded setting on a quiet street. The home was immaculate, well appointed, many areas to gather as a group or to have some quiet time alone. We loved the fireplaces, both indoors and out, and the wood fire pit as well. The only issue we had during our stay was with the refrigerator…a small water leak and a broken shelf, we contacted the property manager and someone was there within the hour to look at it. While nothing could be done to fix the issue on the spot, the technician noted that it would need replacement. This was totally understandable, and I feel they were attentive to the situation. We had a great stay and would rent here again.

Wonderful House!

My friends and I had an amazing time at the Aspen Lake Harmony home. The house was perfect for a group of 10 of us. Could comfortably fit more for sure. The layout of the living space was beautiful and all of the amenities were terrific. Loved the deck, fire pit and pool table. Highly recommend this rental home! 5 stars!

very confortable stay great sound system

two things did lot like it. lots of trash left and Bbq grill too old not functioning right. my first day was saturday and reported the trash problem immediately via email and phone # and i think they came sunday late afternoon after bear destroyed garbage compartments. terrible customers service won’t use poconos rental anymore

While we're glad Mr. Desai had a good time at our Aspen home, we will no longer accept ANY booking from him. Mr. Desai is clearly mistaking poor customer service with our refusal to give in to his attempts to extort up to $1000.00, which violates VRBO's extortion policy. Mr. Desai tried to cancel the booking 2 days before the check in date and requested a refund. After being informed it was too late to cancel he asked about sub-letting the home. He was advised it was against our terms and conditions in the occupancy agreement he signed. He was advised the home would be ready for anyone in the group still wanting to use it. The day after Mr. Desai's group checked out we received a call from his "Friend" Wahab stating he wanted to follow up on receiving a $500.00 refund or a $1000.00 credit for a future rental due to an issue he experienced with a non-functioning fireplace and one of the TVs not working. It was explained to Mr. Wahab we would need to speak to Mr. Desai as the renter on file. After confirming the actual conversation with our maintenance rep, we found Mr. Wahab called to report a problem with the fireplace at 11:30pm the final night of the booking and never mentioned an issue with a TV. It was also confirmed that no offer of a refund or credit was made but the group was given late check out at 2pm FREE of charge. When Mr. Desai contacted us, we offered a $200.00 refund as a courtesy for the issue with the fireplace. When asked for specifics about the fireplace and now TV issues, he was unable to provide any details and insisted on conferencing Mr. Wahab in on the call because he had the info. This lead us to believe Mr. Desai was NOT at the property during the rental and had sub-let the home to Mr. Wahab. We directly asked Mr. Desai if he was indeed at the home during the rental and he state he was there and again insisted on contacting Mr. Wahab for details. At this point, we informed Mr. Desai we would be refunding $200.00 for the fireplace issue and that was all. Mr. Desai continued to ask for a larger refund, a credit for or a discount on a future rental. We informed Mr. Desai the $200.00 refund was all we were giving and that we would be reporting him to VRBO for violating their extortion policy. At no time were we disrespectful or rude to Mr. Desai or Mr. Wahab. In response to Mr. Desai's comment on our needing to "be reminded that they are in the hospitality business," good customer service does NOT include agreeing to extortion.

Great for large families

The house is the perfect size for a large family. There is enough room for four cars to park comfortably without having to move cars. Check in was easy with the door code. We just showed up. Upon entering, we opened up all of the windows. Although the house was very clean, there was an overwhelming musty smell throughout. Getting some fresh air in there did help but it never truly went away. There was plenty of bed space, and decent closet space. Upstairs had a loft area that was perfect for the kids to hang out. Only one bedroom in the lower level had a private bathroom. The family got lots of enjoyment out of the fire pit, gas fireplaces, pool table and sound system. The hot tub did not get much use. When we opened it, it smelled like mildew mixed with dead animal. To managements credit, they had someone there the next day to address it. Although the dead animal smell was gone, it still smelled like mildew so we just didn’t use it. My only other complaint was that the WiFi was terrible. It was in and out and very slow. I had to use my phone as a hot spot for the kids devices. Location was great. It was literally a 4 minute drive to Big Boulder for skiing. The neighborhood was quiet and scenic. We enjoyed hiking, skiing and took a trip to Aquatopia on a rainy day. Jim Thorpe is beautiful nearby town that seems stuck in time. The buildings were beautiful and the ladies loved all of the shops. We enjoyed the trip.

Wonderful holiday memories made here

The home is beautiful. The furnishings are well appointed and comfortable. Plenty of space for our family to spread out and not feel like we were on top of each other. Loved the wine fridge, fire pit, and jacuzzi. The pool table was a family hit. Giving it 4 1/2 stars due to minor housekeeping issues we discovered upon arrival, but nothing that kept us from having a fabulous holiday gathering. Our family discussed renting again for the summer. Thank you for sharing this beautiful property with us.

Great stay for a group!

The house is very quaint with a ton of space and bedrooms! We had a group of friends and it was perfect for us. The speaker system throughout the house is amazing! Linens and towels were folded and ready on each bed, very nice stay.
