However, we would like to clarify the checkout situation, as the timeline described in this review does not match the information provided by our property-management and housekeeping teams. The guest requested a late checkout but was informed that it could not be approved because another guest was arriving that day and the property had to be cleaned and prepared. When the housekeeper arrived before 10:00 a.m., she remained outside and waited until the scheduled checkout time. The guests reportedly told her they had been granted a late checkout because their flight was later, but no late checkout had been approved. The housekeeper continued waiting after 10:00 a.m. and contacted her supervisors when the guests still had not departed. Management did not become involved until approximately 10:30 a.m. or later—well after the scheduled checkout time—not at 9:45 a.m. as stated in the review. We take any concerns about communication or professionalism seriously. However, we also ask guests to respect established checkout times, particularly on same-day turnovers when our housekeeping team has a limited amount of time to prepare the property for the next arriving family.
