Moonshadow retraite sur Cove Mercer Lac-Quiet avec ponton privé

Bienvenue à Moonshadow Retreat. Je suis tellement excitée de partager ma maison Mercer Lakefront avec vous, votre famille et vos amis.

C'était autrefois connu sous le nom de Sammy's Cabin, alors si vous avez séjourné ici dans le passé, vous savez que c'était une superbe maison. Moonshadow Retreat est une maison fantastique sur le lac Mercer.

J'ai mis à jour les meubles, reconstitué la cuisine, le garde-manger et les salles de bain. De nouveaux meubles de salon et tapis sont arrivés. La moquette est si douce sur les pieds nus et le canapé vous donne envie de vous lover et de vous détendre! Il y a maintenant une télévision à écran plat dans le salon et la 2Úme chambre a sa propre TV / DVD.

En Ă©tĂ© / automne, vous n'aurez mĂȘme pas le temps de regarder la tĂ©lĂ©vision, vous voudrez ĂȘtre sur la grande terrasse, Ă  quai, dans ou sur le lac, dans le bain Ă  remous ou Ă  la pĂȘche dans les pĂ©dalo.

Il y a 2 vélos et casques pour votre plaisir.

Le bain Ă  remous est magnifique avec vue sur le lac.

Je viens de planter un jardin d'herbes aromatiques, ce qui rend la cuisine encore plus amusante et savoureuse! J'espÚre que les clients arroseront au besoin pendant votre séjour.

Grandes baies vitrĂ©es dans le salon et la cuisine, avec vue sur le lac Mercer et la forĂȘt.

'Moonshadow Memory Wall' sera bientÎt disponible. Tous les invités sont encouragés à envoyer ici jusqu'à 5 photos de leur visite. Les images seront ensuite ajoutées au mur.

Le lac Mercer est idĂ©al pour la baignade, la navigation de plaisance, le jet ski, le ski nautique, le canoĂ«-kayak, le kayak et la pĂȘche. Mon premier week-end, j'ai sĂ©journĂ© ici, il y avait 2 aigles Ă  tĂȘte blanche qui traĂźnaient toute la journĂ©e. Moonshadow Retreat est situĂ© dans une crique tranquille sur le lac Mercer, il est donc trĂšs sĂ©curitaire pour nager et flotter.

Le pĂ©dalo est lĂ  !!! Fun, fun, fun! Quatre gilets de sauvetage pour adultes sont disponibles, mais veuillez apporter les vĂŽtres pour les enfants ou pour d’autres tailles.

Relaxing home on a lovely lake with great amenities

Great location with good parking. The house was very clean and comfortable for 4 adults and 2 kids.. We enjoyed the well maintained hot tub, private dock. The kayaks and SUP were appreciated.The deck and yard were lovely. We didn't use the fire pit or BBQ or paddle boat. We'd love to return!

Mercer Lake cabin rocks

This cabin at Mercer lake is a perfect location. Right on the water with a large deck and back yard overlooking the lake. Nice dock for your boat. The lawn really needed to be mowed, so it was difficult to use the back yard, but this did not keep us from enjoying our time there.

Location!!!!!

It's been a few weeks since our trip and we are still talking about how much fun we had. We had so much fun at the house we never left! With the lake at our finger tips and the amount of food we brought with us we maximized our time as much as we could. The private dock was amazing for our boys and the paddle boat was such an added bonus. We fished, we swam we laughed and ended our nights by the fire pit. I also want to give a BIG shout out to the property management. Hands down the nicest people and so wonderful to work with. We will be back for sure and cannot wait for that day. Thank for opening your home to our family and being a part of a great memory.

Relaxing Getaway!

My husband and I were in need of a relaxing getaway for a couple days and this is where we landed :) The Moonshadow Retreat was fabulous!! Very comfortable, Very nicely decorated (the pictures do not do it justice) All of the extras that the owners have put into this home were such a pleasant surprise and we could tell that they have a great love for this home! We have stayed at several vacation homes in Oregon and can say that this was one of the BEST we have stayed in. Beds were comfortable (a tad firm for me, but I have back issues) Linens and Bedding were very luxurious. I especially loved the large beach towels which we used for the hot tub. The only problem we had was check in was at 4:00 pm, we showed up at 6:00 and housekeeping was there still working and said she did not know anyone was coming :( so we had to leave and come back... I don't think this was the owners fault at all... after we were allowed to come back we were able to put that behind us and enjoy a VERY lovely time!! We will definitely be booking this house again!!

Beautiful lakefront water fun family vacation

Wonderful place! The house is on a little quiet (5 mph) cove of the lake that has about a dozen homes. While the neighbors are close, there were very few around when we were there on a beautiful August weekend, and the cove was very quiet (except for us, maybe). The 10 and 12-year-old boys loved the loft bedroom (doorless), accessible by a winding metal staircase in the high-ceilinged living room. They also caught (and released) many perch and a few sunfish, and we all enjoyed the swimming, kayaking, peddle boat, and standup paddleboard on the lake, and the hot tub and expansive deck. The lake is somewhat weedy, but was deep enough that we never noticed weeds while swimming. Anglers would sometimes snag weeds. Lake was deep enough to jump off the dock. We never got around to smores in the firepit or the grill--too litte time! Easy access to town and dunes. The house is on a quiet little peninsula with a loop road that can be walked in about 10 or 15 minutes. Property manager was very responsive, helpful and professional, though we didn't really need much. There was a great notebook of local information. Verizon service was fine except for occasional places on the road approach where it drops out. Layout is good for two couples--a master suite with bath, and another small queen room. A 3/4 bath is tucked between the queen room and the kitchen. Watching meteor showers on the dock was a highlight. Some type of shade/umbrella on the dock would have been nice. We'll be back!

Overall a nice home

The main living area is as described. Kitchen was well stocked. Coffee maker is a Keurig - solo or full pot. Plenty of movies and games. Small bedroom has zero storage. No closet; no dresser. Master bedroom has tons of space, including a walk-in closet. Master bath ceiling could stand to be cleaned. Questionable black spots. Lots of storage! Back deck - if you're an arachnophobe, be prepared. We counted no less than 35 spiders on our first night, under the gutter eaves. Swept them down. The next morning there were 15 replacements. It rained during most of our stay so we didn't get to enjoy the backyard, hot tub or dock, but that was our choice. We did enjoy the view of the lake. Very calm & quiet. Would definitely stay again, maybe a little earlier in the year when it's warmer outside, but we were warm & cozy inside! :)

Very nice cozy house

Loved our stay! Played games with our son, soaked in the hot tub, went kayaking, tried out the paddle boat. Everything was perfect. we all played and relaxed and were very comfortable.

Loving Life by the Lake!

Well apportioned home by a beautiful and peaceful lake, with every comfort possible! Spacious and clean, this home offers plenty of lawn and deck space for friends and family. I enjoyed the pedal boat, and the dock is fun to hang on. Had the best time walking around the lake each day, and loving mornings looking at the fog rise off the water. Being so close to the Florence Beach, downtown and restaurants, is a plus...but, I liked just, enjoying homemade meals crafted in a Kitchen, full of amenities. Appreciated, ( Leslie) Property Mgmt aiding with local info, and fast response ! Thank You, for creating a wonderful environment for folks to enjoy the best, of Mercer Lake!

Enjoyable for its purpose

We stayed here with our 16 year old daughter and her two friends. It suited our purpose for the days we were there. However, we felt that we were house-sitting more than staying at a vacation property, maybe because we stayed during the off season? There were a lot of things just...off with the house, especially if you come with a large group i.e. lack of storage space for luggage. The house is also a little run down and comes with a lot of rules. It's also super close to the neighbors--one decided to cut wood at 1:30am, another spent the weekend renovating. Just be warned.

Relaxing lake house

Cute and cozy house right on the lake with dock and hot tub. This was the perfect little getaway for our family just looking to relax. The private dock was great to launch our kayaks and nice when we rented a boat for some fishing. The water was like glass with beautiful mirror images of the trees. House was a few minute drive to town with nice people everywhere we went!

We love this house

Love Mercer Lake and love this house, have stayed here several times. Always comfortable and welcoming. We were disappointed this trip that the pellet stove was out of order and the warm comforters had been taken off the beds as it was a chilly March weekend.

Family Trip

I rented Moonshadow for the weekend for my fiancé’s birthday, we had the kids with us and had the most relaxing time together away from home. The house was really nice and waking up to the view of the lake first thing in the morning was breathtaking. We were able to enjoy a fire in the fire pit at night after relaxing in the hot tub. The next time we are able to take a trip like this again we will be returning back to Moonshadow.

Stay or go play

Great home for staying put- just relax, play a game, or go pedal the lake. Close enough to go explore Florence or the sea lion cave. Great host, checked in and was available by phone if any issues came up.

Fun place to work virtually from

Our Verizon cells got service there and the wifi was easy to connect too. The hot tub was great and the kitchen had what we needed. A great place and we will be back.
