Thank you for your feedback. We're sorry to hear your stay did not meet your expectations. Cleanliness is something we take very seriously, and we wish we had been notified about any concerns with the interior of the home upon your arrival so we could have addressed them immediately. Our goal is always to resolve issues during a guest's stay whenever possible. Regarding the pool, the home's lanai enclosure was damaged during the recent hurricanes. Until it can be fully replaced, the pool is exposed to the elements, and occasional leaves or debris may enter the water, particularly after windy weather. We clearly communicate this to guests, provide a skimmer for convenience, and promptly arrange additional pool service whenever needed, as we did during your stay. We were also happy to accommodate your request to bring a third dog, despite the home's standard pet policy, and simply applied the additional pet fee that was agreed upon in advance. As for the pet waste charge, this was not actually assessed, you just saw the corrected charge for the total number of pets. When I went back and looked again, we only charged $125 for 1 pet initially and then another $250 for the other two; for a total of $375, and no additional fee on top of that were charged. We do have video documentation that shows 13 waste piles in a 41 second video from our staff so it was not "a couple" of missed spots. We'd be happy to send it to you, as I mentioned to your husband, but he declined. Typically, additional cleaning fees are applied in accordance with our rental agreement to cover the extra labor required to prepare the property, but in this case we simply applied your pet fees to the cleanup. We always strive to be fair, responsive, and accommodating, and we appreciate the opportunity to clarify these circumstances for future guests.
