We had a wonderful girls trip here. The location is fantastic, with your own landing to jump in the lake and have a bonfire. A great deck to enjoy every meal with beautiful views. The house was clean, well kept and stocked with plenty of towels for everyone.

We really enjoyed a relaxing time at the lake in this charming house. The lake views are fantastic and the lower yard with dock, fire pit and chairs let us enjoy the lake up close. Our hosts went out of their way to provide little extras such as snacks, a few toiletries, coffee pods , and even a welcome bottle of local wine. We walked to an excellent restaurant one night and used the grill and well stocked kitchen to make our own dinner the other nights. The house is close to cute towns, many wineries and the natural beauty of Watkins Glen. Thank you for your hospitality!

The entire house smells like fuel oil. The downstairs bathroom is in very poor condition.

We are very sorry that you felt this way about the house and wish you had said something at the time. We have never heard such a thing about a smell. The downstairs bathroom is admittedly small and could use some cosmetic updating but it is not in poor condition. We strive to keep everything clean and in good working order.

Great property. Just be aware there is a number of steps and an incline to bring items into the house. Also the fire pit is across the street by the water and an uphill walk back to the house. House was great. Comfortable beds, well stocked kitchen and very clean. Nice deck with view of the lake.

The owners communicated the check-in and check-out process 24 hours prior. It was simple, leaving no confusion! The rental had all the essentials necessary for the weekend and made the clean up easier :) Highly recommend and would definitely come back when going to the area again!

Melanie & Jared's property was fantastic! We loved sitting on the deck each morning drinking our coffee and at night relaxing. The house suited our needs perfectly. We were 6 adults plus 1 child and 1 baby. We were not crowded. Everyone had their space. The beds were super comfy. Everything was clean and well organized. There were no issues. Any questions we had, Melanie responded immediately. We wouldn't hesitate to stay here again. It was a perfect vacation!!! You won't regret booking this property.

Family Getaway

House was perfect for our stay and we had great communication with the owners prior. Great views and the beach area was perfect. Location was very central to all the wineries and attraction.

The property is located on a hillside with stunning Seneca Lake views with water access across the road.The house was exactly as advertised: spacious and easily accommodated our needs which at times included 4 cousins (ages 2 - 7) playing together while we tended to the wedding preparations we were there for. The venue was a short 5 minute walk from the property. The area had little traffic and encouraged lazy strolls along the lake. The hosts were very accommodating and located close by in case any problems arose. There was a complete set of appliances minus a dish washer, but everything you needed was there in abundance. Mattresses and pillows were firm and supportive. Both bathrooms were full baths with tubs / showers. There was also access to washers and dryers on the property.The only challenge was a very steep driveway. However, the property also offers a spacious parking area that can handle 2 cars across the road in front of the property's water access area where we had access to lounge chairs and a firepit.I would highly recommend this property to anyone looking to spend time along the Seneca Lake area.
