Unwind in Lodi at this charming cottage. With 2 queen beds in 2 cozy bedrooms and a living room with 2 full beds, this welcoming retreat is perfect for small groups or families. Great location on Seneca Lake, just a short drive to wineries, farm markets, breweries, waterfalls, hiking, and more. Right on the water, with a beautiful shale beach and large dock to relax on. Enjoy amazing sunsets from our upper deck over Seneca Lake! Quiet, peaceful and truly relaxing.

Need to know:
There are 51 stairs from the parking area to the house. The stairs are wide with a few landings.
The property is located down a dirt road. Four wheel drive is not necessary, but it is best to take it slow.
The house has a shore well and it is not recommended to drink the tap water.

The cottage was Very Nice - we especially enjoyed the covered deck facing the lake. The location right on the lake - facing east (sunsets) was perfect!!! We greatly enjoyed our stay!!!

Highly Recommended Lakeside Stay

We stayed at the Lake House for two nights while attending graduation in Ithaca and had a wonderful experience. The location is perfect—peaceful, quiet, and surrounded by nature, providing a serene retreat after busy and hectic days in Ithaca. It was the ideal place to relax and unwind. I highly recommend this property for anyone seeking a calm and restful getaway.

Beautiful property and great location. Little tricky to find but Amy called and talked us through it. Had everything we needed at the house and had a great girls getaway.

The place was cute with a great location! I’m leaving three stars because there were active wasp nests on the porch. I sent a message asking that they remove the nests the first day or if they have spray I could use. They replied that they had tried to treat them and there was no spray left. Next to my group more importantly you can not drink the water there even filtered water. This wasn’t listed on the property. We were not prepared for this which was difficult. If they would add that to the info before booking or just having communicated something they knew would have been great! The info is in the house binder not even by the sink. I would still go back but bring water and my own wasp spray. It was very clean and comfortable

I’m sorry for the misunderstanding. The “wasps” on the deck were actually mud daubers. They are not aggressive and actually help control the spiders. We take the nests down, but in general, they are good to have around. We do occasionally spray for wasps, but try to minimize spray as much as possible. The lake shore is a natural environment and that means some bugs and animals at times. Regarding the water, the notice was in the pdf sent to you prior to your arrival.

My cottage is nestled down at the water's edge on the east side of Seneca Lake. It feels like a tiny community far from the rest of the world. But in reality, it's super close to the best of central NY! History, hiking, forests, farms and markets, wineries, distilleries, and breweries are all within 30 minutes drive. There's something for everyone!
