Juste sur le trottoir de Mission Beach! Rockaway Retreat I est un magnifique front de mer avec 3 chambres, 2 salles de bains rĂ©centes donnant sur la promenade, le sable et les vagues dĂ©ferlantes de l'ocĂ©an Pacifique. De grandes fenĂȘtres et un joli patio extĂ©rieur spacieux vous permettent de profiter de tout ce que la vie face Ă  l'ocĂ©an a Ă  offrir.

Cette location de vacances est situĂ©e au 1er Ă©tage, directement sur la plage! La maison est amĂ©nagĂ©e avec des sols en travertin, des comptoirs en granit et une cuisine avec des appareils en acier inoxydable. Mission Beach

The location was great, which is why we chose the property. It appears the building was under ownership change (sold sign out front), which may explain a few of the issues I'll mention. Overall, it was an ok place. Having a garage that my full-size SUV would fit in for the trip was HUGE. The place had what we needed. A few shortcomings were: the front slider will not lock. Needs adjustment so the latch will catch. We had wooden poles to slip behind the door, but it would be nice to lock it. The refrigerator and freezer are just barely getting by. At max settings, the stuff in the fridge never made it to preferred temperature and items in the freezer took about 2 days to freeze. Not ideal. The place needs a little TLC, which may be planned by the new owners. But it was acceptably clean and as mentioned, you are staying and paying for the location.

Amazing Location!

We enjoyed our time with our adult kids + partners. The location is amazing!! Beautiful views, sunsets, and people watching. It was perfect with us having our own bath and the other two couples sharing the 2nd bath. Check in process was a little frustrating - all the communications say please don't ask about early check in, if its ready early we'll let you know. It was clear the unit was ready earlier in the day (we drove by), but we did not get a notification until I bugged them a few times, received 'bot' replies about parking, then finally they said the unit was ready about 1.5 hours early. We did not have any major issues with the interior but several small ones ...the patio furniture was filthy .... they sent someone the next morning to clean it off. The dishwasher and oven both had issues - loose hinge on the dishwasher and oven handle that came off when we pulled it open. Other reviews mention the lack of seating, that is definitely something to upgrade. 3 person couch for a place that holds 6. Its great to have the garage (very small but standard for that area), but more than once we went to leave and were blocked in by another car. The first time I messaged about this, I got the same bot reply about parking. After that I received a reply that was not very helpful about how it looks like I can still get out. Overall: location makes up for a lot of the small issues, but with a makeover and improved response time (no bots!) it could be a real gem!

Yearly Marine/Veteran Day fishing trip

We have been coming to Sandiego/Mission Beach for the last 7 years. This rental was great location. The amount of room this place has was amazing. It was a great experience. We will be booking soon for our trip next year on the Marine Corps Birthday/Veterans day weekend.

Noisy!

The people upstairs were running around and making noises from 4 am to midnight. We could hear every footstep. Cheap floors? No carpet? Ruined the trip. We complained to no effect. Also check in and out too strict. Lighten up, we have a toddler.

Amazing views and comfortable beds!

This condo has the most amazing views from all rooms. Beds are super comfortable with great bedding. Well stocked kitchen, great tv’s and a wonderful patio to sit relax and watch the waves. While we were there over Thanksgiving we saw so many dolphins playing in the waves and a few whales. It was an amazing place and stay!!

Perfect stay

Spent a week with 8 close friends. This place fit the bill perfectly. Super clean and in excellent condition, spectacular view. Convenient location, reasonable walking distance to Crystal Pier area with its amenities but far enough away to be away from noisy evenings. Awesome property managers (Bluewater) took care of all our needs.

Fall break

Nothing beats a property on the boardwalk in Mission Beach. Nonstop people watching, and look out for Slo Mo who skates by in his slow style twice a day. In the mornings before 9 am and in the afternoon after 4 pm, the dogs come out! The apartment is great with 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. Also rare was an enclosed garage for the car. The dining table is right in front of the large windows to enjoy the ocean view. The management was always ready to answer questions.

Ocean front property

It’s a great property. Only problem was with grill which they sent tech out immediately but we had problems with it our last night. Kitchen needs bigger skillets and the tile floor makes the bottom of feet black.

Such an amazing place! Close to loads of stores and places to eat. It was awesome to have garage spots to park the cars. We had everything we needed and Bluewater was very responsive to all of our inquiries.

Ideally located on Mission Bay

The home was ideal for my family of 6 and two small dogs. Ideally located right across the boardwalk from Mission beach, the home was spacious and was stalked with everything we needed. The patio had enough separation from the boardwalk that our small dogs were well contained. As mentioned in other reviews the garage is small, barely accommodating our Honda Pilot, but we were able to make it work. i would highly recommend the unit.

Great location right on the sand, nice patio out front, very nice garage. Master suite is nice and large facing the ocean while the kids bedrooms are fairly small and are in rear of the property.

Very close to the beach!

Very clean and nice inside. Very easy to walk to the beach and restaurants. The views is great. Only complaint is the walls are pretty thin so you might have a problem with the noise if you're a light sleeper.

Perfect Beach House in Mission Beach

We had a fabulous time staying on the beach at this house. The first day we got there was a little winding, but that didn't bother us as the views from inside the house were outstanding. The master bedroom has a full view of the beach, but very private. The other bedrooms were nicely accommodating. The kitchen was nice but needed more serving bowls and a pair of scissors. The best part was being able to walk out on to the lanai/porch and have the beach right there. We set up a volleyball net on the beach in front of the house and had a blast!
