We had such a fantastic stay! The place was clean, cozy, and welcoming. Nelson, the owner, was super friendly and checked in often to make sure everything was perfect. The extra amenities were a great bonus. We'd highly recommend it!

Walnut St stay

This property was lovely. Owner added holiday touches and numerous extra toiletries. The beds were quite comfortable and the decor of the apartment was thoughtfully set up for comfort as well. We were able to walk to restaurants and downtown easily. Answers from the owner were prompt and as thoughtful as apartment setup. We hope to stay again.

Great weekend getaway

⸻This is the first time I’ve ever left a review for a service, but after experiencing Nelson Gagnon’s incredible hospitality, I felt compelled to share. From the moment we arrived, Nelson was exceptionally kind and welcoming. He was incredibly flexible with our check-in and even offered to extend our check-out time to accommodate our travel plans. He also provided a fantastic list of nearby restaurants, making our stay even more enjoyable.The apartment itself was perfect for our weekend getaway—spotlessly clean, quiet, and thoughtfully stocked with everything we needed down to the smallest details. Perfect for a small family

WOW! I never leave reviews. Staying at this property was the best decision I have we made coming to NH. The property were always available and so willing to help beyond making the home a comfortable place for myself and my family. They had everything there in case we forgot anything, the told me great places to dine within walking distance which I needed because my rental was cancelled. I will never forget the hospitality we were shown.

A great weekend!

My family and I had a wonderful stay at this beautiful apartment. Nelson was very communicative making sure we all the information needed before arriving. The apartment was very beautiful, clean, and the pictures do not give the place justice. It felt very cozy and everything was there for our comfort. When just arrive we had an issue with the heat which Nelson addressed immediately, he was always a phone call away if I had questions, and he provided a great list of spots to eat at. Nelson and his wife were very friendly and kind. We would definitely come back if we visit New Hampshire again. Thank you for the wonderful hospitality!

Clean apartment in downtown Manchester

Apartment was in an older house but everything had been redone. Old house feel with modern clean smell and furnishings. Comfortable mattress and furniture with lots of amenities. Only issue was heat control which had to be done at radiators or via communication with owner. Was told they are working on fixing it. Washer/dryer is shared with one other unit. Owner very quick and to respond to any questions.

Cozy, accessible and comfortable

We were in town for a few days and selected the location based on great reviews of the property and Nelson's hospitality. We are so glad we did. We booked a 2nd floor apt but 24 hours before, Nelson let us know there was some weather related damage and moved us right to the 1st floor. We appreciated the quick problem solving because the hotels in the area was already sold out of rooms. The apt was beautiful, quaint and offered unexpected amenities like candies and mini toiletries. The weather was dreary and all these small offerings made the stay feel cozy, accessible and comfortable. We didn't have a car but rideshare was accessible and we were able to walk down to the library, some restaurants and a bookstore. Finally, Nelson was kind to let us know the night before that we can stay past the check out time because he wasn't expecting a guest later that evening. That really helped us in a pinch since we had a few hours to entertain from check out time to when we could catch our bus. He saved us money with that extra time and we stayed within our travel budget for that reason. We recommend this host and location. We will likely stay here again in the future.

Absolutely a nightmare of a stay. Location is a second floor duplex in a super sketchy neighborhood. Arrived late at night and immediately sensed something was off when the downstairs male occupants scurried back into the house when I was trying to find the alley to park, meanwhile a car was idling down the street. The downstairs occupants parked in my allotted spot. Once inside, I realized there was a front and a back entrance. The back entrance had a key code door but it appeared to not lock. What was more unnerving was that it led to stairs down the rear of the house and connected to the rear entrance of the downstairs unit. Around 4am a car with a loud muffler drove down the block a few times and then idled outside the house for awhile and the downstairs occupants were making noise. Apparently the host lives nearby but apparently didn’t say anything. Received a text from the host the next day confirming that the back entrance didn’t lock and that they intentionally left a lock off that door. Absolutely unacceptable from a safety standpoint! The host was unwilling to fix the lock immediately and wanted to wait another day. I said nope and checked out early and then spent several weeks arguing with the host and VRBO to get a full refund. The host is a complete deceiver and tried to give me the run around multiple times and contradicted himself too. If I could give this zero stars I would. Don’t trust the reviews. Reported the host to VRBO as well.
