This is a true hotel feel when you stay at this home. It is reset and restocked between each guest, with rigorous cleaning standards and exceptional concierge service at your fingertips.

At Lunabase we like to be unreasonably helpful - it`s our thing!

SPACE: The bedrooms all have private ensuite bathrooms. The main living space is an open concept with nano doors to the upper deck, inviting nature in. Take a dip in the saltwater hot tub and curl up by the remote-controlled gas fireplace. Then, catch the complimentary ski shuttle to the ski lifts or Village for shopping and dinning. Come back to prepare a chef`s feast with Thermador range and fridge, all upgraded appliances and finishings at this residence. Fully stocked, fully equipped.

COFFEE & TEA: The home has a Moccamaster drip coffee machine, filters and local coffee provided. There is an electric tea kettle as well.

REJUVENATION: At Lunabase we value wellness amenities. Our community understands the importance of a balanced body and mind. The home has high-quality mattresses and plush linens for restful sleep. We stock our BASES with yoga mats and foam rollers for stretching. We can arrange in-home massages.

CONCIERGE SERVICE: We strive to go above and beyond for our guests. Lunabase is happy to provide additional lifestyle and recreation amenities that can be requested through your personalized boarding pass, once booking is complete. We have paddle boards, full-size cribs, a twin bed, strollers and high chairs, birthday cakes, charcuterie boards, `stock your fridge` options and so much more! It is our pleasure to help personalize your trip.

HOUSEKEEPING: Lunabase has the same cleaning and service standards as a luxury hotel. We take additional steps to reduce the spread of infection with rigorous cleaning procedures. We can arrange daily or mid-stay cleans.

QUIET HOURS: We ask that guests respect the neighbors and observe quiet hours between 9pm-9am. It`s a great community!

Palisades Tahoe is the largest ski resort in California and is rich in Olympic history. The valley was home to the 1960 Winter Olympics and first-ever Olympic opening ceremony, produced by Walt Disney — a place where nostalgia meets adventure. Enjoy the magic of this special mountain!

The neighborhood has a bike pump track and bocce ball court. A short walk to the public pickleball courts, lacrosse, soccer field and a playground. Stroll to the bike shop and rent bikes or walk to the Palisades Village for restaurants and shops. If you do rent bikes there is a paved trail along the Truckee River that will take you to Lake Tahoe.

There is a paved walking trail around Olympic Valley and it`s plowed in the winter. Get outside year round, we`re in sunny California!

Enjoy golf and tennis at Everline Resort, one mile from the home.

We recommend having a car to see all that Lake Tahoe has to offer. The Uber service in Olympic Valley can be hit or miss. Once you are at the home, there is a complimentary, on-demand, front door pickup, Shuttle for skiing and to get around Palisades and Alpine Meadows. It runs December through April and the Mountaineer app is simple to use. Save yourself the hassle of parking!

The BBQ grill on this property is locked for short-term rental guest use, per Placer County guidelines for wildfire prevention program.

Please note, Placer County mandates a 12.5% occupancy tax that is added to the booking.

A security deposit will be taken in the form of a $1500 pre-authorized hold on your credit card through after your booking. It will be released 7 days after your check-out.

Cancellations made within the cancellation period are subject to a payment processing fee of 3.9% plus $0.30 for any deposits collected.

We kindly ask you to read our house rules carefully and keep them in mind during your stay.
1. No parties or events allowed.
2. No smoking allowed.
3. Please do not place hot pots/pans on countertops. It will damage the stone.
4. Please don’t eat or drink in the bedrooms.
5. Please respect the noise curfew (9pm-9am).
6. Please turn the AC/heater to 70 when you go out.
7. Please respect check-in and check-out times.
8. Please take extra care of your keys. Lost keys incur a fee of $100.
9. Please take care of the furnishings. You will have to pay for damages.
10. Please don’t rearrange the furniture.
11. Do not take any of the shampoo/conditioner bottles with you when you leave. Those will be charged to your method of payment if missing. We wash and refill those for sustainability.
