Great property! Extremely clean and well appointed. You can't beat the view of the Boston skyline from the master bedroom. The host was very accommodating and responsive.

This property is absolutely gorgeous, clean very up to date and decorated beautifully, panoramic ocean views and very close to the downtown, it really was an amazing getaway, I would highly recommend it.

Wonderful home with all that you need to have a comfortable, clean stay. We enjoyed this beautiful home. It had everything we needed and more. We enjoyed our stay and recommend this house to anyone visiting the area. We were here for a week and had a lovely stay!

Beautiful Views

We had a wonderful stay here. The house was very clean and well furnished. Beautiful views throughout the house! Easy access to town and a cute outdoor area as well. Would love to stay here again!

The house is absolutely beautiful and so much space!! My favorite part was the shower/soaking tub in the master bathroom! There was a slight issue with getting into the house when we checked in because the instructions say the key left for guests is for the back door but it’s actually for the side door of the house but other than that, our stay was smooth and relaxing!

Amazing views

This house was amazing. The views were spectacular and this house has everything you could ask for. I fell in love with this home. Would definitely stay again.

Check in/out so easy, home is absolutely perfect. Great views, loads of space, tons of amenities (games, ocean-view deck, home theater!), and heated floors!!!! And a sweet little treat on arrival , bonus! (Plus wine for purchase available in dining room )!The alter-life I created for myself while having morning coffee (provided) involved hours of "working" from the office but actually being fully immersed in the view.Swampscott is an adorable gem and this is the best place to lean into all the surrounding beauty. Definitely worth a stay in each of the seasons to really take in all the offerings (outdoor activities, Salem, Boston, chill on the deck or in the yard).Whatever brings you calm, I bet you can find it here. Sometimes when I love a place I struggle to share because I want to keep it for myself - this is one of those gems. Solid choice and even my - let's say frugal -spouse said I knocked it out of the park with this one. Thank you for making me look good

New England Vacation

Our family stayed a week at this house while we toured around the New England area. This location was great and within 2 hours driving to 5 states we visited while there. The house is very spacious and comfortable. It had many features that we didn’t even get to use since we were sightseeing so much during the day. It is well stocked with everything we needed and more. If we ever find ourselves back in this area I would love to stay here longer.

Great Accommodations

Great accommodations, equipped kitchen, ocean view, host response, location, neighborhood. Had family get together to revisit Salem, roomy space for gaming, talking, being a family. Couple office rooms aside from bedrooms/living space. Would stay here again. Reasonable Lyft into Salem.

Great place to stay

Large, clean, updated 4 bedroom 3 1/2 bath home. We enjoyed our stay very much.One thing I would have liked with 3 of the bedrooms on the second floor there is only one bathroom to share. Mirrors in the bedrooms would make it easier getting ready if someone is in the bathroom.Also would like TV's in the bedrooms too. Other than that it was great and we worked around the bathroom setup. Thanks Mark for being a fabulous host!

I'm giving this a 10/10. Despite a couple issues, the management of it all was as good as we could ask. The house itself is in a great location, and is clean, has good views, all as advertised. We had the refrigerator/freezer fail right before we got there Saturday night. Mark was incredibly responsive, and the repair people showed up the next morning (but couldnt fix it until we were gone on Tuesday). We used the wine fridge for what we could, and there was a backup freezer/fridge in the basement, which was better than nothing. Wine glasses were missing - they ordered from Amazon for next day delivery. Sheet supply was low, same issue. Location is great - Phillips beach is a very short drive, and we drove but you could walk to the restaurants downtown. All in all, very enjoyable stay for 3 generations of our family. I would go back for sure.

Fantastic, Flawless Place!

Amazing, we absolutely fell in love with Mark’s place. The views sell it, and they are indeed beautiful and uninterrupted, BUT the house itself, I felt like I lived there, gorgeously comfortable living room, the kitchen had everything we needed, ( including homemade banana bread on arrival ). The bathrooms are wonderful, extremely well equipped, I loved the huge bath and rainfall shower in the master c bedroom. Huge,comfortable beds, plenty of spare blankets if needed. Towels were also plentiful, toilet paper was abundant so no trips to the shops for refills and there is a great laundry room, fully supplied with washing detergent and softener. Checking in was easy, and also checking out. Mark was in easy contact and I would highly recommend a stay here. We chose this place partly due to proximity to Salem and Logan International airport, as we had travelled from the UK. Swampscott itself is an absolute delight though, and the neighbourhood is charming.

This house was a perfect rental. It was super clean, comfortable beds, and pillows, and the decor and renovations give a historical feel with a modern facelift. The view of the ocean was spectacular, more than we expected, and we would definitely rent this place again.

Perfect vacation

The house was perfect for us. Walking distance to a beach, close to several great restaurants, 30 minutes from several attractions in Boston. We will definitely be booking this place in the future!
