Lake Cumberland Stay

Great location. Cabin was very nice and clean Enjoyed the screened in porch, grill, hot tub and pool table during our stay. The staff were friendly, nice and helpful. Good food and drinks at the onsite restaurant. We plan to return next year

Very nice place for the price

We really enjoyed staying in this cabin with friends for New Years !!! The cabin was clean, beds were comfortable, kitchen and bathroom had all needed essentials. We enjoyed how private the bedrooms and bathrooms were. The only down side is hot tub is very small (4 people) and we had 6 people so we had to take turns instead of enjoying time all together inside. There is few minutes drive to the lake, but honestly you cannot beat the price!

Peace and Quiet

The cabin was nice and spacious, close to the Burnside Marina where we rented a boat for a day. It was nice and clean, and had everything we needed to cook/eat meals there, at our home away from home. It was a bonus there were 3 pools to utilize as well. I liked the fact that it was in a gated resort. We found lizards, caterpillars and even had a small snake visit oit back. Well worth the price!

The 2 downstairs bedrooms need new mattress’s. They were so uncomfortable that 4 people (2 couples) in our group chose to go home instead of staying the 2nd night. Ruined our trip. We will not be back!

Great Escape

The name of the cabin is suites it perfectly. It's far enough away from the other cabins for the perfect amount of privacy. I only used one of the bedrooms but each room has its own bathroom attached which would be handy for a larger group. The only issue I had was with the hot tub faceplate sticker being rubbed off that labels the buttons for jets, temperature, and lights. The front desk was extremely helpful with finding a diagram that matched the model so I could use it properly. Second time I've been to the area with LCR 3 and will continue to do so!

Renting was fine but the house that we rented was not the cleanest and the beds were not the most comfortable the house needs to be gone thru thoroughly checked things we broke and could use some updated. Discouraging when you get charged for cleaning and it wasn't even totally cleaned.

Not Clean

Upon arrival, there was a mouse issue in the cabin. The cabin had a mouse/mice problem and an abundance of mice droppings throughout the home, as well as several dead bugs in each of the bedrooms. It was apparent that the cabin had not been cleaned thoroughly. We brought our issues up with the management company, who promptly issued us a refund the next morning. 5 star service/communication with the property manager, 1 Star for cleanliness.

Good stay

This is a pretty good property and we had no major complaints. Staff was polite and friendly but gave incorrect directions to the house. We woke up to a view of beer cans all down the side of the hill. That may the neighbor’s property. There was a used bandaid on the deck near the hot tub. That is something housekeeping may have easily over, however it did not make for a good first impression. Guests should know that the golf cart advertised in the title of the listing is not included in the rental fee. The receipt we received at check in was far cheaper than the rate we paid vrbo. I wish we would’ve had that information beforehand. We would’ve lowered our expectations for 35% off. That’s the negative. The positive is that the house is in a beautiful, quiet area. Other that the above minor fusses, we had no complaints. I would consider staying again but would book directly.

Need some tlc updated

The hot tub did not work the first day only heated up to 94 degrees which is cool for a hot tub. I called next morning at nine overseer could not come till later to look at. We unplugged the hot tub and reset it. The oberseer came around 3 after we had already unplugged it but he was able to get the tub temp to come up. but had to take several hours to get to 102 degrees. He called later that evening and did offer us a smaller cabin of which by then our day was already gone. Since we were leaving next morning we stayed where we were at. Should of offered us another place earlier in the morning. The kitchen utensils is sparce only 3 forks if I had of had all 6 people come which is what the cabin sleeps there would not have been enough. If you don't cook than you will be fine. Over all the place is ok.

We enjoyed our stay. Nice place with plenty of room for everyone. Hot tub was very clean. Only thing was the upstairs bed was very uncomfortable. My other family that was with us said the beds they stayed in we’re fine. Overall great stay!

beautiful setting but not clean

PROS: great location. pool was refreshing and nice. Quiet and peaceful outside areas. CONS: very bad cleaning service. There was an old blood spot on my sheet, hair on the shower curtain, mold on the shower curtain, kitchen floor poorly mopped. Also the beds and pillows were old and uncomfortable.

Perfect location and property

This was perfect for a quick weekend getaway for our adult family. We went hiking at Cumberland Falls and spent a day on a boat at Lake Cumberland and the property is half way in between. Very secluded and quiet and beautiful location. Very spacious and the hot tub and pool table gave us a few extra things to do as a family. Perfect choice.

Nice,good size for families or couples. Clean, ample supplies. Grocery,etc. 15-20 min. away.

Enjoyed our Thanksgiving with our son, wife and 2 children. No amenities open. Pools that are open during summer are small. Took some walks. Small playground . Would suggest replacing king mattress in bedroom on main level. Very uncomfortable and creaked at the slightest movement. Provided extra bed pillows, but no extra pillow cases. Luggage racks in bedrooms would be helpful . Only place to put suitcase is on the floor. Enjoyed pool table and corn hole game. Good space for 6 people. Staff very friendly and helpful !
