Complete newly renovated 2nd (top) story apartment with lots of natural light! Large bedroom with queen bed, large closet, and sitting bench. Living room with chaise lounge sofa that opens to a queen bed, new tv, washer/dryer. Full kitchen w/ commercial gas range, full fridge, plenty of cabinet space. Full bathroom w/ shower/tub combo, new vanity, plenty of linens. Private balcony out back w/ great combo of light & shade for nice days. If you have a larger group, we have another unit next door!

Apartment was VERY clean; Easy to find; In a great location. Comfortable furniture. A/C worked great! Owners even had it cooled upon our arrival! Hot water always! No plumbing issues. All appliances worked perfectly! Loved the skylight in the hallway! We parked right outside the unit all week long with no issues; very quaint, quiet and safe neighborhood. I walked alone to a local coffee shop while my husband and teenage boys slept. Local eateries are within walking distance; as are many metro bus stops and the train station. We had a blast and loved the experiences Washington DC gave us. I cannot wait to go back! Dining: •If you like Chipotle style dining & enjoy Korean food - check out Seoul Spice! This place was a HIT with my crew! •Ben’s Chili Bowl was tasty & within walking distance. •For all the hype we read on Toki Underground, we were excited for it to be our first dinner out in DC. While the staff is pleasant & the environment very swanky, the food was mediocre & unimpressive. •Dog Haus Biergarten (DuPont Circle) don’t waste your money. Side note to smokers: Request for no smoking from balcony… wish that had been annotated in the listing- as the upstairs unit with small accessible balcony was a high selling point for me choosing this location (smoke rises). I understand the reasoning - but you cannot tell just how close the neighbors live from the pictures posted.

Wonderful!

We had a lovely stay! The apartment was very clean and had everything we needed while we were there. It was nice and cool to relax in after long days of sightseeing. Great location, too! We walked to the Capitol one morning (20 min) and the rest of our days we walked to Eastern Market metro line (also 20 min). If we find ourselves in DC again, we’ll definitely stay here!

Short birthday weekend getaway

This was our first time to DC and we chose to stay in a great location. Within walking distance to streetcar and Metro (at Union Station). It was hot and a tutorial on the room thermostat would have been helpful upon check in. We eventually figured it out and thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

Excellent property

Location of the property is great, quite street. The property is bright and airy. Check-in instructions were clearly provided. Since the apartment is on the 2nd floor you have to take the stairs which wasn't a problem even with a few carry on bags. The owners responded to messages fast and were extremely accomodating. All the necessary things, bed sheets, blankets, towels, etc. were provided. The kitchen is nice and adequately stocked. It was a nice place to stay, would recommend it.

Capital Hill one bedroom

Convenient and pleasnt location. Furnishings were very comfortable. Everything was clean except some dishes in th cabinets. I think not having a dishwasher to properly sanitize is a fault. Also there was no AC. Luckily the weather wasn't too hot and the ceiling fans worked well, but I think it would have been very uncomfortable had the temperature been higher. It suited us well for a short 2 night stay.

Check-in and building entry instructions explained very well. Unit 3 was very clean and nicely updated and kept! Couch comes out to make a bed—a little shorter and smaller than a queen for our 2 kids to share. Bedroom was a nice size with a very comfortable bed. No noise issues in the building during our stay at all. Parking could be pretty tricky, but we parked our car for the night in the late afternoon & early evening and always found a spot nearby. About a 12 minute uber ride from the National Mall. (So we did Uber to DC Scooter and rode to most of the monuments.) Back porch is shared with a partial partition, so we did not use it. House was very well stocked with everything you would need—very well-supplied! We loved having a full kitchen to cook meals! There was laundry soap, but we purchased dryer sheets. We were so glad to have washer and dryer. Great place for our 3 day stay. Would definitely recommend!
