Welcome to this BEAUTIFUL HOME!! Construction finished in July 2024. Be among the FIRST to stay in this one-of-a-kind river front home, equally spacious inside and out. Sitting on 1.7 acres of riverfront on the Nantahala River inside the Nantahala National Forest, the property offers the greatest privacy and serenity of any home on the Nantahala. Inside, enjoy the open floor plan, stunning views from over-sized windows and immense deck overlooking the river and forest. #FlyFishing; #Rafting

650 Feet of riverfront! Walk in for fly fishing right off the property. Slide in your own raft or kayak from the property and be on your way down river! Walking distance to Bartram Trailhead. The Appalachian Trail (AT) cuts right through the Forest this property sits in and is accessible from many points. Mountain biking also available immediately off the property. Or
sit still and do nothing while lounging in brand new Adirondack chairs at the fire pit on the river’s bank while watching the rafters drift past.

Open floor plan private residence, with 3 bedrooms, 3.5 bathrooms. Full kitchen with stainless steel appliances, including gas cooktop and double ovens. Full dining area in addition to counter seating, complete with wet bar, pantry storage, and over-sized washer/dryer. Fully sealed gas fireplace in the living room with 12-foot sliding doors to an outdoor living space that runs the length of the home. This property has a whole-home generator, for year-round comfort. The deck comes complete with sitting and dining areas, and includes a Blackstone griddle for cooking.

The Master bedroom has its own access to the deck, and an almost 180-degree view of the property on the Nantahala River. The en suite bathroom hosts an enormous walk-in shower, jetted whirlpool tub, and private commode.

Two bedrooms upstairs host queen-sized beds, with beautiful views of the river. Adjoining bathrooms have dual sinks with spacious vanities and full showers.

The upstairs loft contains plenty of space for entertainment, complete with 65” TV, full-sized pull-out couch, and reading nook.

Come relax at this riverfront hideaway! The home is in the gorge of the Nantahala Forest, 5mi from NOC and 1mi from the rafting put-in.

If I could give more than 5 stars, I would. Super friendly host and gorgeous, spacious new custom home with expansive views of the creek from every room. The porch, the fire pit by the water, the kitchen appliances, the German doors and windows - all spectacular! We can’t wait to come back!

Mesmeric Mountain Oasis

My brother, sister-in-law, and parents had a very relaxing visit. They all enjoyed the mesmeric movement of the river just steps away from the balcony. The retreat was impeccable. Clean, quiet, and an absolute jewel. Exceptional customer service!

Slice of Heaven on the Nantahala

Description of the property was accurate, it is truly breathtaking. Property is new, approximately 1 year old with high end finishes.Indoor and outdoor spaces are great for entertaining, and the river is literally steps from the deck. Location is ideal for a short drive to Nantahala Lake, Bryson City and Robbinsville.Communication with the owner and check/in was flawless. 5Stars

River paradise

Beautiful and comfortable home in a private, gated community. If you’re looking for activities on the river, fishing and hiking, this place is great. Literally steps away from the Nantahala river. Beautiful outdoor deck overlooking the river. Wall-to-wall windows, allowing amazing views of the river and mountains. We love to cook family meals while away and this kitchen is amazing. State of the art everything! Close to Bryson City too for a nice day excursion. Can’t wait to come back!!

Words cannot describe!

This property is absolutely amazing!! The owners thought of everything, such attention to detail! The views from every room were incredible, through gorgeous, huge windows. All rooms are very spacious, and we each had our own bedroom AND bathroom! The kitchen was well-stocked with oils and spices, which was a nice treat. We loved our strolls in the neighborhood with morning coffee, and gathering at the river around the fire pit in the evening. We had such a great time!

Enjoy the natural surroundings, inside and out!

We had the most wonderful time!! Besides being able to fish right from the yard, the property is amazing! It’s large with a fire pit right on the river, has a nature path immediately adjacent, and is big enough for all kinds of fun and games! The house is also spacious with an easy, open floor plan and windows, windows everywhere. You feel part of nature! And we thoroughly enjoyed the cozy fireplace (it’s an easy gas fireplace). Teens and parents alike appreciated that each bedroom has its own bathroom (which are beautiful). The kitchen had all the supplies we wanted to cook meals at home, and we made good use of the wine fridge! We can’t wait to come back!!

Absolutely Stunning Thanksgiving Stay

The River Nook is absolutely perfect! The owners took great care in designing it with beautiful glass all throughout to ensure you always have a stunning view of the Nantahala River. We were lucky enough to be one of the first families that stayed here. I was a bit worried they might not have everything we needed to prepare our Thanksgiving dinner. I ended up bringing everything for no reason. They even had plastic bags, spices, olive oil, I could keep going on. Extremely gracious hosts. The inside is beautifully designed and decorated very modern. The land itself the house is on is so stunning. We had fun for the time we were home at the house fly fishing, rock hunting, and just enjoying the views. I highly recommend this property to anyone that is looking to stay in the area with a luxurious twist. Thanks again for an amazing stay!

A place to get away from it all! Sit back and relax, or enjoy the activities of the river, right from the back yard.

This private community is submersed in the best of the outdoors — in addition to the river, it is surrounded by mountains and forests, there for exploring. Whether you enjoy the paved bike path along the river, a hike up the nearby Bartram Trail, or the wilds of the rapids, there is something for everyone!
