It’s great to know the beach chairs, toys, and floats were useful, and that our property manager was responsive during your stay. The charcoal grill is shown in the listing photos to help set expectations—we know it’s not as convenient as gas, and we’ll take a look at how we can make that clearer in the description. As for the refrigerator water dispenser, thanks for pointing that out. Generally, we recommend guests bring or purchase drinking water, as the local tap water isn’t ideal. Sorry to hear about the parking ticket—that’s definitely frustrating. Even near private property, local parking rules are still enforced. We truly enjoyed hosting you and are glad you were able to enjoy the front porch and the proximity to the beach. Regarding the furniture, it is the same furniture that appears in our listing photos, and while it may not be brand new, we are proud to provide a functional living room that seats guests comfortably. It does see a lot of use during peak season with guests coming straight from the beach. The pillow covers are washed and replaced multiple times a year as time allows, though it isn’t feasible to do so between every turnover during the busiest months. For the door code, we are sorry you had difficulty when you first arrived. We provide detailed instructions on how to operate the lock, and from our system records it appears this was a user error. We are always happy to help, and we were glad we could get you inside quickly. We also appreciate the notice about the broken hose and replaced it right away. Unfortunately, some items do break during guest stays, and we rely on guests reporting them so we can address the issue promptly. As for the pest concern, this was the first time we had ever received a report of roaches. Pest control was sent immediately and did not find any activity, and we also personally inspected after your stay with no evidence found. We also issued you a full cleaning refund without you needing to request it. With the baby items, both the pack ’n play and booster seat are in the home. We confirmed this immediately after your stay and even used them ourselves during our own visit. We were surprised to hear you could not locate them, as we did not receive communication about this during your time in the home. If we had, we would have been happy to direct you to them. We truly appreciate your flexibility with the small hiccups you experienced and are glad you still found your stay enjoyable overall. Your feedback helps us continue to improve, and we hope to host you again in the future.
