Take in the view and walk straight onto the beach with direct access, steps from your private veranda on the dune. At Sea Salt, comfort, care, and ease define the island experience.

Your beach on Great Guana Cay is two miles of pristine, powdered-sugar sand and crystal clear turquoise water
and other people are few and far between.

From the moment you arrive at Sea Salt, island living will feel natural, comfortable, and easy. With the ocean just steps from the deck, a genuinely well-stocked home, and attentive local care, Sea Salt is designed to help you settle in quickly and enjoy Guana Cay at an unhurried pace. Every detail is intentional, creating a calm, welcoming space.

GETTING HERE: is easy with a few tips in mind.

Our regional airport is Marsh Harbor (MHH) on Abaco, Bahamas.
Taxis are plentiful outside the airport.

G&L Ferry operates out of the public dock in town next to Colors restaurant.

Check the ferry schedule website for a convenient trip out and costs. Ferry service is weather dependent. Be sure you are traveling to Great Guana Cay, not Hope Town or any other Island.

Charter ferry trips are available but at a substantially higher cost. We strongly recommend travel insurance in case of any flight delays or ferry service availability issues.

Our Property Manager, Callicia, will meet you at the ferry dock on Great Guana to take you and your belongings to Sea Salt on this golf-cart-only island.

If you'd like to rent a Golf Cart on the island, Callicia can arrange this for you.

BOATERS!
If you will be in Abaco with your boat, Orchid Bay Marina is a full service facility on the Sea of Abaco side of the island and less than a 5 minute golf cart ride away from Sea Salt. This affords the rare combination of both a beach front rental and immediate access to dockage.

If you’d like to rent a boat during your time here, check with Dive Guana for rates. You can also keep your rental boat at Orchid Bay Marina if renting for multiple days.

Slice of Paradise

Our family spring break vacation couldn’t have been anymore perfect at Sea Salt. The location is truly amazing.The house is perfectly decorated and has tons of thoughtful perks. We loved spending every morning and evening on the back porch listening enjoying the views and listening to the waves. We can’t wait to return.

Truly a lovely home. Our host was knowledgable, friendly, and punctual. The house was recently constructed and it has all of the amenities. The kitchen was sell stocked. The ocean is literally out the back door. The location is convenient. It is very near the restaurants and walking distance to the grocery store. There are plenty of beach toys to use enjoying the ocean. Our family had a great time and we look forward to coming back to Sea Salt.

LOVE this beach house!

I cannot say enough great things about this beach house. It is newly built and no detail was left out. The location is perfectly positioned steps away from the water. The ocean view is gorgeous and the water is crystal clear. We rose early to view sunrise every morning from the deck. We spent countless hours enjoying the comfy deck furniture and beach loungers. The kids swam out to the reef and snorkeled every day. The inside of the house was spotless and well-appointed. They even supplied beach towels. The kitchen has plenty of dishes and a filtered water dispenser. The beds are very comfy and each room has a mini-split AC with its own thermostat. The bathrooms have plenty of plush towels and the rain-shower heads have good pressure. There is a whole house generator that kicks on when island power is out.Travel on the ferry was effortless. Calicia met us at the dock and brought us to the house. Calicia was awesome. She was very responsive and helpful with everything!We rented a golf-cart for a few days, but the grocery store and Grabbers are just a 5 minute walk away. Grabbers had a family friendly-crowd. They had a large menu, good drinks, good music, beach toys, and beautiful sunsets. I highly recommend Seasalt and cannot wait to return.

We had an excellent stay at Sea Salt! Callicia was very helpful with check-in and there were a lot of great amenities that added that extra special touch. We loved the water filter installed in the kitchen (anyone who has been to guana knows the woes of having to buy water jugs!). Also loved all the little Sea Salt merch waiting for us (the stickers and coozies, so cute!!). It was great that there was already a supply of trash bags, paper towels, soaps, etc. We did not know that the house was right next to the public beach access until getting onto the property, but it was hardly an issue. We only saw a handful of people using the access throughout our week. Just want people to be aware that the access is four feet from the back deck! The house was absolutely adorable but it is definitely on the smaller side, so I would just keep that in mind if booking the house with more than your immediate family. It’s tight quarters, but every inch is clean and well maintained. The only true downside to this adorable cottage is that there is no closets or storage space. There is plenty of dressers for clothing, just nothing can be hung up anywhere. There is also no storage space for suitcases, so we had to keep our luggage piled up in common areas and the kids room. It would have been great if there was storage under one of the beds to keep suitcases. Again, not a huge deal, but just to give people a heads up! Also would have loved a small vacuum or broom for sweeping sand :)
