Perfection

Sea Coral Cottage is perfectly appointed, comfortable, quiet and safe. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and are already planning for return next year. The view and access to the beach is easy and overwhelmingly beautiful. Great property!

Friends get together

Amazing! This little cottage is perfect in every way. Beautiful inside and out. It has everything you need. Beds comfortable, plenty of room for the 4 of us. we could have added two more and it still would of been plenty of room. The view was amazing. I would definitely stay here again. Hopefully coming back soon.

A great place

The house was well appointed and very clean. Darvin was helpful, as we had many questions on our first trip to Abacos. He helped us get a private ferry since multiple delays had us miss last ferry for day. We were grateful for the generator as island had some power outages. The location is great.

Amazing location

This house is actually very updated, and it looks so much better in person than the current pictures. It’s quaint but felt bigger because of the functional layout. The beach is phenomenal with great snorkeling areas right outside of the house. It’s a very short walk to Nippers, which is a must do if staying on Guana. We would definitely rent this house again!

Amazing stay in Guana

The Sea Coral Cottage was the perfect place to stay in Guana. The location is easy to get to, it has amazing beach access and views, and it has all the amenities you need. A really comfortable and private house. The house was clean and everything was in working order. Any question we had was answered quickly. I highly recommend staying here and look forward to coming back! Thank you!!!

Perfect place for relaxed vacation

This cottage was perfect for our group of 6! I came to celebrate my 40th birthday with my husband, brother & 3 close friends, and we loved the Sea Coral Cottage! It was the perfect amount of space for us… the location is fantastic and super close to all the happening spots on island… and the new renovations to the cottage made it even better than the pictures show! I recommend using Dive Guana for a boat charter/rental while there to check out what the other nearby islands have to offer (swimming pigs, stingrays, sea turtles etc). Will definitely stay here again when looking for a tropical getaway not too far from home!

Great Guana Cay Vacation

Sea Coral Cottage exceeded our high expectations. Perfect in every way; comfort, location, and assistance from Property Manager Darvin. Steps from the cottage, the beach is as beautiful as it gets. We rented a cart but could have walked to everything including beach bars, grocery, and boat rental/dive shop. Great Guana is a great island to base your Abacos adventure from and Darvin provides great advice to get the most from the area.

Great location and view!

This house is in a great location, walkable to Nippers, Grabbers, the grocery store, etc. The view was absolutely beautiful, even on rainy and windy days! The kitchen was well-stocked with pots/pans but prepare for basic kitchen items, like olive oil if you're planning on cooking, as not many were there during our stay. Host was very responsive and helpful as we were preparing for the trip. It was the perfect size for our family and we had a great trip!

Guna Stay Sea Coral Cottage -6/24-6/29

We have stayed in the Coral Sea Cottage before and loved it. This time it was good except for the black nat looking things everyone morning all over each bathroom. Every morning. Doors were kept shut but not sure where all of them came from. Also, water pressure went out one day. Also we were asked to check out by 8 am on 6/29. We had our on boat and should not have had to check out that early. Ended up negotiating with property manager to be 9/930 but the cleaning lady came about 8:00 to get set up for cleaning. Felt rushed to get out. Overall, still like the house.

Hi Venessa, We appreciate your input as it is essential in providing the best experience possible for our guests! We have looked into and addressed your concerns as best we can. We believe the gnats were coming in through the side of the AC in the upstairs bedroom. We recently had it replaced and it didn’t get completely sealed off. That has since been remedied. As for the water pressure, I’m not sure what the issue was as we did not receive any notification of this while you were there. My family and I went to the house this week and everything is working as it should. Finally, to address the 8 am checkout, that was always the policy and we adopted it when we took over the property from the previous owners in January. I know it is early, but it’s essential for getting the house ready for the next guests. Especially on a same day turn around. Darvin, our property manager, said he was able to give you until 9 am and I hope that helped. Thank you for being a valued guest! We look forward to having you stay with us in the future :)

What a SPOT!

Our family has been visiting GGC for almost 30 years, but this last trip we’d been away from the island for 14 years so a lot has changed, particularly since Hurricane Dorian. It’s a little more built up than we remembered it, but we still had an outstanding trip. This is a great little house, and it accommodated us very comfortably (4 adults and 2 kids). The house is well equipped and clean, and doesn’t leave you ‘needing’ anything. There’s even a great selection of good books and games. I’m not sure there’s a better location on the island, you’re walking distance from everything – the settlement, Nippers, Grabbers, grocery store etc. BUT it feels secluded and private at the same time. Beach access is right down the stairs, and you have a beautiful beach and wonderful sandy bottom swimming. If the water is calm, walk down the beach a couple hundred feet and swim out to the reef for some excellent snorkeling. The on-island property manager was great, he was responsive, available and friendly. He was very quick to take care of the couple minor issues we had during our stay. Guana has always been a magical place, and this cottage is the perfect spot to experience it from.
