Bedroom #6 has a King bed with a Bunk bed (Lower Level), no windows,great for sleep-in crowd.
#7 Sleeping room is a cozy room with comfortable queen only accessible through the theatre room. Another great room for teenagers (no windows).
Note: When we check guests in we usually see the kids fighting over this room 😁.
Bedroom #8 bedroom is more like a camp dorm room. This well designed investment yields an additional 7 sleeping spaces (7 dwarfs room). 1 Queen and 5 twin beds.

We had a wonderful stay. The property is fabulous, inside & out! The house is perfect for a large group and the kitchen is stocked with excellent essentials. Would definitely stay here again. Barney was great to work with.

Great property. Owner was very accessible, knowledgeable and very nice. House and boat house were clean and in perfect condition. Our Grandkids said it was the best vacation house they had ever stayed in, lots of things to do. Pool table, corn hole, hot tub, kayaks and more.

Great family spot!

The team is great! The house is very clean and spacious with plenty of refrigeration for our large multi-generational group. Dinner seating was easy with two full size tables, one in the kitchen and one on the adjacent screened in porch plus an island ! Perfect for us!

Easter at Gaston

Property manager and everyone associated very easy to deal with and get in touch with. Great outdoor spaces, extra large dock very nice and screened in porch was just the right size for a large group. Pictures dont do the view and sunset view justice, nice spot.

By far the best rental on the lake

From the booking process, questions prior to arrival and truly feeling at home from the minute you walk in the door to checkout it was the easiest, nicest home we have rented in the past 11 years. The view is amazing with panoramic views of the lake, the beds slept like a perfect dream, the house is fully stocked and the best part was the dock. If you’re trying to decide on your next vacation, let this be it. You won’t be disappointed. .

Had the best week with friends and family!

This property was absolutely stunning with an amazing location, great views of the lake, all the necessary amenities and plenty of space for our 3 families. The dock w/sun deck was one of our favorite features. It was great for sunbathing, relaxing, fishing and jumping off. The basement with cinema and pool table was a great space for the kids. The extra kitchen downstairs was a wonderful feature as well. The property manager was super helpful, friendly and easy to work with. We would definitely stay here again!

Awesome Stay!

Beautiful home with a ton of stuff to do, especially the lake. We had 12 adults and 6 kids 5-12 and we never left the place in a week other than to get groceries. It was super clean and had a lot of stuff that other places we've stayed did not. It was set up for you right as soon as you walk in - we didn't need to put in trash bags or toilet paper etc. We did not rent the boat, so can't speak to that, but the dockhouse was well used for swimming, lounging and fishing. Property manager was attentive and helpful. Great time, we'll likely be back!

Amazing Experience

Wow! The house and location are fantastic. I am from a large family and we hosted a family reunion at the house. We had family members from ages 1 to 79 stay at the house and there was a place for everyone. We loved the dock area and spent many hours swimming in the lake, jumping off the diving board, kayaking and more! The layout is fantastic. The little ones could enjoy a movie while others shot pool or cooked and played games on the upper level. The huge screened in porch was used throughout the day. The home has a large flat driveway and we were able to have 8 vehicles parked on the driveway. I enjoyed the private outdoor shower off the primary bedroom. The home is spacious and is just what we needed for our family! Barney, the host, is fantastic. I had many questions and he was responsive and helpful. As a host, I give him 5 stars . I highly recommend renting this home!

Great stay and intro to Lake Gaston

We (20 people across 5 families) had never been to Lake Gaston. This house was an amazing intro! Super clean coming in, check in was very simple. This was one of the nicest lake houses we have ever stay at (probably 10+ different properties). The lake house was great, we were able to bring a pontoon and jet ski (got creative with docking the jet ski). Plenty of rooms and bedroom options, though with the larger number of adults we had to share a few baths, just FYI. Only improvement could be better wifi and/or cell service, but those aren't up to the property owner (assuming they have the best available). Overall 5* stay, great communication and beautiful property!

Great Vacation

Family of 14 ages 10 thru 75. Beautiful house, beautiful dock, beautiful lake, Having the pontoon boat there all week was a definite plus (boat rides, water skiing, tubing.) Outdoor cooking area (grill and Blackstone griddle great). All amenities listed are there and more. Anything you need is provided. I agree with all the previous reviews, except the WIFI upgrade was more than enough for my 2 college grandchildern to do some online class work without any problem. We mostly have Verizon cell plans, no problem there. I always try to balance our reviews; only negative we could come up with was drive to get there (8.5 hrs from PA and 14.5 from VT) but everyone agreed it was worth it. Again, GREAT VACATION.

Mid Summer Break!

Everything about the home was top of the line and spectacular. The layout of the home is great whether you have a small family or large gathering and everything within the home and the lake amenities are top of the line. I cannot state how much the quality of the little things are about this home such as the screened in porch for morning coffee or watching the evening sunsets - or the large kitchen and family area which is great for socializing with friends or just being relaxed after a long day on the lake. The basement offers plenty of room and entertainment options with a top of the line Media Room for watching movies (which the selection provided was A+) or shooting a round of billiards while looking out over the lake. Our kids loved having the dock with the roof top lounging area and my wife and I enjoyed the breeze of sitting on the dock in the mornings and evenings looking out over the lake. The location is also very good for anyone who wants to enjoy both ends of the lake and within a gated community you can go for a long walk without any vehicle traffic too, something that we took advantage of and found very relaxing. We ended up booking this house thanks to a quick response from the Property Manager(s) and found communication for any questions throughout our stay to be very friendly and easy and look forward to staying here on future stays to Lake Gaston.

Family reunion

House was perfect in every way. There were 15 of us ranging in age from 13-76. Beautiful location and lots of water activities, the owner’s boat is very nice and powerful enough for any water sport. Great weather all week, which was a plus.Puzzles and games in living room cabinet. Corn hole and another outdoor golf toss game. Chris D’alatorio is the management rep and does an outstanding job in all respects. Send a text and he responds immediately. Most of the homes on Lake Gaston are built on cliffs over looking the lake. Spectacular views but anyone with mobility issues should reconsider the location as negotiating 60 steps several times a day could be a problem. It would be a good idea to bring a library of dvd’s as the ones available are a little dated. Great bedrooms, theater room, bathrooms with a surplus of towels however bring your own beach towels as these are not available. The large screened porch was a blessing as the May flies arrived and we were protected from the onslaught! Don’t hesitate to contact Chris. He is truly amazing ain this position and a very nice personality too!

FABULOUS, FABULOUS HOME!!!! First, Chris was the most thoughtful, amazing, and gracious host whose communication before, during and after our stay was SUPERB !!! He was kind, prompt and helped us with every little aspect!!! HE IS WONDERFUL!! The house was STUNNING!!! It was SPOTLESS, well designed, stylish, bright and very spacious with top of the line EVERYTHING! We had everything we could have possibly needed or wanted with all the little touches that made it better than perfect!!! It was well stocked with anything you could think of!! They provided everything you need for your vacation except your clothes!!! The beds were magnificently comfortable and all towels and linens were new and soft!! Every aspect of this beautiful home was above and beyond!! The location was ABSOLUTELY PERFECT and the BEST on Lake Gaston

.with gorgeous views from every room!! The theater room, pool table, downstairs kitchen/ bar area, hot tub, hammock, and HUGE screened in porch overlooking the lake are just a few of the luxuries that make this home stand out!!! The multi level luxurious docks are equipped with every bell and whistle you could think of!! Whatever lake apparatus is your fancy, it is there!!! Top of the line paddle-boards, kayaks , tube floats , floating boards, diving board, etc are all included. You will definitely want to stay at the FABULOUS dock 90% of your stay!! It’s a water Paradise in itself !!! EVERYTHING FUN!!! ABSOLUTELY this home is better than anywhere we have stayed EVER!!! I would for sure recommend this home over any other one you’ve stayed at !!!!! BOOK IT BEFORE IT’S GONE!!!!

My wife and I are from Raleigh where I was a custom home builder for over 17 years. I built this vacation home for my family to get away and spend time together. Now retired, and doing some traveling, we want to give other families the opportunity to enjoy our home as well.

We built our vacation home in Harbor Landing because it is a safe, private "gated" community. A private community boat ramp is also available for owners and their guests to use.

Our home was not originally intended for use as a vacation rental property, but for the use of our family and friends. Therefore, you will find the decor and furnishings to be a step above that found in a typical rental unit. The kitchen is fully stocked to make meal preparation easier, and the bedrooms have newer comfortable mattresses. The house is located on one acre with a large front yard and plenty of space to relax and enjoy the lake at the back.
