Charming 3-bedroom flint cottage with sunny garden

Situated on the village common of East Runton, complete with pond & ducks, Green Cottage is a pretty, detached flint cottage, recently renovated. As you enter the front door, the newly-fitted spacious kitchen leads through to the open plan dining room. Old beams, crisp cotton linens and fresh flowers will welcome you to this charming traditional fisherman's cottage. The large lounge has comfy sofas around the fireplace and a sunny window seat, reached from the dining room. Beyond this, is the cosy TV room. The lounge also has a door out to the private garden.
Off the main hall is the third bedroom, snug, light and airy, and also the downstairs cloakroom. Upstairs, the main (kingsize) bedroom, with its old fireplace and exposed beams, looks out over the garden. A big wardrobe in the eaves provides plenty of space for storage, suitcases etc. Next door, the twin bedroom and the spacious bathroom (with full-size bath and large, separate walk-in shower) provide plenty of family space and comfort

Green Cottage is a lovely, well kept and well appointed cottage within a short walk of East Runton beach. It provided a great base for our holiday.

The beach was an easy 5-8 minute walk away, and there was accessible parking outside the cottage. Neighbours were friendly and chatty which added local warmth to our stay.

Booked for a long weekend. Would highly recommend Green Cottage. It’s really beautifully furnished and so comfortable. The lovely garden was an added bonus. Val was really helpful with any questions we had. Would love to go back.

What a beautiful property! Very clean and beautifully decorated, with everything you need. parking spaces available right outside the front of the property.Added extras made settling in easy and pleasantly surprising, from the little necessities such as toilet rolls, soap and towels in each bathroom, washing liquid and milk in the fridge, to added extras such as wine, shortbread, tea & coffee and fresh flowers.The fig tree in the garden was a wonderful surprise too.Val visited to check we had settled in and returned shortly to help us with the television.Great communication with Val before and after our stay.Location is fantastic. 5 minute walking distance to:The beach, which our children spent many hours body boarding at and has toilets situated at the top in the car park.Will's Plaice fish and chip shop (delicious)Harry's bar (a must to get a drink at whilst waiting for your chip order) They show Sport on TV and offer a great selection of drinks too.White Horse - delicious food.Butchers.Convenience store.and another pub.Ice cream van is nearly always situated at the top of the beach.Thanks for a great stay.

Absolutely beautiful cottage over 200 years old . Holds so much character . Pubs , chippy , shop and beach on the doorstep. Central location to explore, we only scratched the surface and will be back . Thank you Val

Winter escape

The house was very clean and very nicely decorated. It was nice to have a few days there as a winter break. We enjoyed walking along the beach at Holkham and East Runton. As a couple we had plenty of room to spread out but it would be lovely for a family. We would thoroughly recommend this property on the beautiful North Norfolk coast.

More room than expected!

A delightful cottage, that has much more room than you imagine, it is in an excellent location to explore the North Norfolk coast, with a lovely garden that our Grandson and dog ran around all day! . There were 4 adults a toddler and a lively dog, but we never felt ‘ on top of each other’ and had a such a great week we have already booked to go back.

Beautiful house with cosy rooms

There was a short walk to the beach which was great for walking. We had a drive to Cley which is lovely and where we bought smoked fish. and had a long walk to the mashes. We had a walk on Holkham and had to take our shoes off to get back to our car as the water was coming in from the sea!

Country cottage near the beach

There’s no doubt about it. This is a lovely place to spend a week near the beach. The cottage is cosy but not cramped with a large enough garden for the kids to play in and enough room to sleep six comfortably. It’s close to beach but if you want something different walk the other way and there’s plenty of countryside walks to enjoy. There’s plenty of suggestions for things to do aside from the beach not to mention there’s a hot tub to relax in. All in all a great place to stay.

Family break North Norfolk coast

Really nice short break with family in this comfortable and spacious cottage. Val was a great host and checked if we needed anything when we arrived. Val gave us lots of helpful information about the local area and there are lovely walks from the cottage. The beds are comfortable and the cottage well equipped with everything you may need for a self catering break. We would stay again.

Fantastic stay at Green Cottage

We had a fantastic bank holiday weekend stay at Green Cottage. The cottage is beautiful, peaceful with plenty of room and a lovely garden. The location is perfect a very short walk to East Runton beach which is ideal for the children. We are already planning our next visit!

Fabulous post lockdown stay

We had such a great time and got super lucky with the weather. The cottage is way bigger in real life and we had loads of space for 6 adults and 1 dog. The garden was particularly delightful, and had sun pretty much all day. Val was very lovely and sorted us out with everything we needed, as well as being really communicative throughout. 100% would recommend! Thanks Rosie

East Runton Green Cottage

This cottage was an excellent base for us and our dogs, the cottage was spacious, warm and really comfortable and made you feel so relaxed, it was beautiful.

Fab Cottage

What a fabulous place Green Cottage is, very deceiving from the outside but what a surprise when you walk in, lovely and comfortable with plenty of room to sit and relax, with a fully equipped kitchen and an impressive walk in shower. We loved the location too, very quiet but very easy to get around, with both Cromer and Sheringham only a few minutes drive away. East Runton beach is a great place to have lovely walks, our four legged friends thoroughly enjoyed themselves. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend and can't wait to return.

Green Cottage

This cottage is an absolute gem. Clean, fully equipped and comfortable. A great location for a quiet holiday, the garden is relaxing, yet there are many interesting places to visit nearby. The directions provided by the owner were inch perfect.

A lovely cottage. A fabulous base for visiting all the nearby resorts and attractions

We stayed at Green Cottage for 4 days with our 2 grandchildren. Much appreciated the flowers, wine and essentials that Val had provided. A lovely touch. Unfortunately the weather was terrible but a good supply of puzzles , books and games kept the little ones busy. Had a great day out at Roarr Dinosaur Adventure and visited Cromer and Sheringham.Had a great meal out at Sammy's diner lovely staff and food.Would love to stay again at Green Cottage in the future and hopefully have some sunshine this time 😎
