Lake Break in a No Wake!

Welcome to lake life living situated in a no wake zone on the 3,600 acre Herrington Lake. This low traffic, dead end street is located a short distance from Royalty’s Marina and close to Shaker Village. Huge outdoor patio, a large dock with two boat slips and a fireplace. You cannot beat the calmness and view of this property. Boat rental available during season and can be slipped right at the dock.

Walking into the entrance of the home, you will be on the main floor of this property. Kitchen, dinning room, living room, one bathroom, Bedroom 1 and patio access is on this floor.

Upstairs: Bedroom 2 and Bedroom 3

Bedroom 1: One Queen Bed & One Full Bed, TV, Small desk
Bedroom 2: Two Queen Beds & TV and attached Bathroom
Bedroom 3: King bed with Master Bath
Main Floor has a Full Bath in the hallway

All bathrooms have towels, washcloths, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, q-tips, floss and lotion.

The kitchen has 2 bar stools, dining table for 6 and includes all your cooking essentials.
Also in the kitchen, you will find the washer and dryer behind the folding doors.

K-cup machine (coffee and creamer included)
Drip machine (coffee, filters and creamer included)
4-slice toaster
Air Fryer
Hot tea kettle (tea included)
Spices, baking dishes, pans, etc.

The garage is allowed to be used by guests.

Each bedroom has throw blankets and in the living room as well.

This is a lake house which means there may be mud, wind, pollen, bugs, snakes, temporary power outages, dirt, leaves, dust, and fallen trees. We allow pets so you may encounter an animal hair but we do our best at collecting it. There might be a spider or a cricket. Pollen or ashes or leaves could settle on the porch or ledges with the blowing wind. The house is professionally cleaned after every single guest, but please keep in mind that this is a lake house on the outside. All used linens, duvet covers, Pillow cases, shams, blankets and towels are washed every guest.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this rental. The house was so well appointed, and the views of the lake from the deck were beautiful! And the proximity to town was a definite plus. We would definitely stay here again!

We had a wonderful stay at the Lake Break in a No Wake. It was all we expected. Great view. Peaceful and beautiful.My adult son and his girlfriend loved it. Going down to the private dock and kayaking every day. Our dog loved sitting on the deck with us and looking at the view.Accommodations were excellent. And our host Anessa was great to deal with. Very responsive. Would book another stay without hesitation.

Our issue was a late cancellation notice of our stay. There was an e-mail sent at 10:22 central time on the night before our departure (6 November 2025). However, we were in bed, planning to leave early on Friday, the 7th of November. Since I was driving, I actually did not get a chance to check my e-mail until we stopped for lunch. With 2 of our children and 1 grandchild (age 4) in the car, you can imagine our surprise. Somehow, we were able to secure a place for us to stay (along iith 2 of our other children who were meeting us there), but it was quite hectic and cos us a good deal more than originally planned. I mean, this was a less than 24 hour notice of cancellation.

I love this location being in a no wake zone, the lake is very calm and peaceful. The neighborhood is all full time residents except this home which makes for being on vacation- a true vacation.
