This was our second time staying here and it was just as good as the first! The house is clean and comfortable, with splendid bucolic views (horses in the front, cows out back). Excellent place to stay when you're in the Harrodsburg-Danville area.

Great location for us seeing relatives in Danville. Loved the location and so did the dogs. Plenty of room for all and very quiet off the beaten path.

The house was beautiful, cozy, and well taken care of—plenty of privacy too! We were not too far from town (Burgin or Danville), so if you’re in need of some late night ice cream, Finns was a great choice for us! Couldn’t recommend this visit enough!

Rural serenity

As a well-appointed guest house on a farm, it was a welcome, quiet get-away with no traffic to speak of. It was within driving distance to many distilleries on the bourbon trail, so nicely located as well.

Great location! Lovely house.

My family truly enjoyed this charming country house! It was ideally located for our activities in the area around Lexington and not to far for some activities in Louisville also. The hosts were very friendly and helpful providing information about our stay and things to do around the area. We would definitely stay here again!

Historic Harrodsburg Property

Lovely guest cottage on historic farm. Beautiful location with absolute peace and quiet. Very comfortable home and host Cindy was wonderful. Look forward to returning soon!

Lovely cozy home on a beautiful property.

The home is warm and inviting. Very cozy and clean with a lot of thoughtful extras. The host was very communicative and helpful. The whole property is beautiful, well-maintained but still keeping a rustic charm. We will definitely book again!

Nice cabin, in addition to a couple roku TVs the kitchen was well stocked (with utensils, you still have to bring your own groceries) and there was a good selection of books, board games, cleaning supplies, etc. Pet friendly, good communication from the owner. Very nice, quiet property. There was a thunderstorm over the weekend and I almost thought it had completely missed us because I couldn't hear it from inside. The owner left very detailed instructions for what to do in case of severe weather, how to clean up, and where things are located in the house. We didn't end up using the fire pit because we were taking hikes and by the time we got back we were exhausted. It's very close to Shaker Village and Burgin, Lexington is within 40 minutes and Danville within about 15. Most things are closed by 9 or 10pm so the kitchen is welcome.

Lovely accommodations!

This was the perfect retreat for a mother-daughter weekend of scrapbooking. The place was well-equipped and the owner was a pleasure to work with. It was easy to find, and the setting was idyllic. We would highly recommend to anyone considering a visit!
