Summary:

The Sunshine Chateau is just 3 miles from the heart of Nashville. You'll be a short Uber ride away from Music Row, where you can explore Nashville's entertainment industry. Don't forget to visit the Country Music Hall of Fame! Or check out the numerous local bars, restaurants, activities, and shops in downtown.



The Space:

The main room consists of the living room and dining room. Comfortable seating is gathered around a Smart TV (Netflix, Hulu, ESPN, etc.) and steps away is a dining table for 4. Right by the kitchen, there is another table for 4. The kitchen is great for homemade meals and is equipped with a drip coffee maker, blender, toaster, dishwasher, and more! But if you don't feel like cooking, we highly recommend checking out one of the local eateries for some Nashville chicken sandwiches or BBQ!



The main bedroom holds a King bed and en suite bathroom. The 2nd bedroom is great for the kids and has 2 Twin beds. The last bedroom has a Queen bed. There is a shared full bathroom as well.



There are 2 assigned parking spots and plenty of street parking nearby!



Neighborhood:

Two miles from downtown (about a 10 minute drive). Near TN State Univ, Vanderbilt, Fisk & Meharry. Two blocks to Hadley Park w/ tennis courts/indoor pool/gym.



The College Hill/Hadley Park neighborhood is a historic area near colleges & universities. Swett's Restaurant, a local favorite with southern cuisine, is a 1 minute drive on 28th & Clifton, the 28th/31st Ave. connector takes you to the Parthenon in Centennial Park and the Vanderbilt area where there are lots of restaurants & entertainment venues.

Perfect location for a Nashville trip, and the size of the house was just right for our group. Everything was close by, and the owners were incredibly responsive and easy to communicate with. Would absolutely stay here again.

Host was cery communicative and the accommodations had everything we needed. Its wasnt lacish by any means, but it was a safe, comfortable, and convenience place to stay while visiting Nashville!

We loved Nashville & had a great time!The host was very responsive. When we arrived, the floors were sticky & seemed had not been thoroughly cleaned. They had someone come the next day to take care of it. We appreciated that. They made the check-in / check-out process very easy. Good location, very close to everything, but pretty noisy very loud music & street racing going on at all hours. We were 5 adults & the space easily accommodated the group. The beds & couches were not comfortable. Mattresses & pillows were hard. A mattress topper would have made a world of difference. The white leatherette couch was more than likely part of an old sectional & came apart when sitting down. Couches could use an upgrade.

Perfect for a Nashville family vacation!!!!

This place was perfect for a large family vacation! We 2 married couples and 2 adult children so everyone had a bed. Listing was accurate. You are literally within 12 minutes of everything in Nashville. Highly recommend staying here! Great stay for a great price!

Great place

This was a great home, clean and well stocked. Kitchen included everything we needed to make meals for our large group. Bedrooms were great size and beds comfy. Location was perfect, easy access to highway and close to area attractions. I would definitely book again if traveling to Nashville

Perfect for a family

Very clean accommodation, it had everything we needed except ceiling fans. There were 2 oscillating fans that helped, but ceiling fans would have been nice in the bedrooms.

The place was nice. Convenient to downtown. The only negative thing was the air conditioning. The last day it wasn't working correctly and the duplex wouldn't get any cooler than 78. I informed the property manager so hopefully it was fixed before the next rental.

Great day! Five day baseball tournament

We enjoyed staying here! Lyft rides to downtown were between 10 and 12 each way. Centrally located. For a family four, each of us got our own bed. It was nice to have two full baths and a full kitchen.

Terrible property management

The air conditioning was not working upon arrival on Friday afternoon. We reached out to the property management several times and they didn't send someone to fix it until Sunday evening. It was over 90* inside the house, making it miserable. It was also not very clean. Beds were uncomfortable.

Nice basic place

GREAT location!!! We were very central to everything we wanted to do! Overall the location was clean, except for the furniture in the living room. There were stains all over the cloth sofa & large padded chair, and the leather loveseat was in pretty poor condition. We took a spare bed sheet and draped it over the sofa to sit on it.The kitchen was very clean and had all the pots & pans, dinnerware, and utensils we could need!The ensuite bathroom in the front primary bedroom had a shower head that was too high for my wife to reach. And since the shower was very small, she could not move the stream of water to a comfortable place.The toilet in that bathroom also leaked just a bit if you leaned back against the tank while sitting down. To their defense, when we reported it, they were very prompt in responding, and offered to fix it immediately. We told them we could deal with it while we were there and they could fix it after we departed.The oddest thing was the 3rd queen sized bedroom, that we (thankfully) did not have to use. It had a bed that was the tallest bed I've ever seen! There was a small 2 step stepladder in that bedrooms' closet, and we all agreed you would have to use it to climb into that bed!

The only reason I took away 1 start is the lack of Internet. Nobody could log in to the guest Internet. The smart TV is on a separate network. I message along if I could get on the network that was actually working but the reply was a "how to log into Internet" canned response. The Internet not working caused the alarm system to beep all weekend. separate network

Cute house in Nashville west side.

We arrived at our rental and it was just this week expected. The rooms look just like we thought only there was much more space than we expected. The rooms were very good size and larger than we thought they would be. The access to the facility was very easy and we had no problems with it. we really enjoyed our stay and May very well rent this unit again

Football weekend

We enjoyed our stay. The accommodations fit our needs. $15 uber rides to Broadway St. The management company that handles this property was apparently having system issues. I received a number of emails saying I had a balance (which was paid). I would contact them, they told me not to worry about it, then I would receive more emails that my reservation would be canceled because I had a balance. We did not receive check in information until about an hour prior to our arrival. It would have been comforting to have this sooner considering the cancelation emails that I received. When we arrived, the AC and WIFI did not work. They did send someone out to fix the AC but did not fix the wifi. Not a huge deal for us, but if you're needing it, you may not have it. Overall a good place.
