Perfect rental. We stayed 3 nights (4 women age 55). The house offered so many little details and extras that other rentals I have stayed in did not. We could walk to downtown to enjoy dinner and drinks. Great area. We would definitely stay again. Thank you!

This property was fantastic. Everything you could need was available in the house. The view of the river was very nice and the location was perfect. Very close to town and St. Charles is a charming little community.

The River View was in a great location very clean and the kitchen was well stocked with a wonderful spice carousel which you don’t often find. Great place for a family getaway.

The hosts were very attentive to making sure thought of every detail from providing logs for the fire to providing us a map of the walking trail by the house. I highly recommend this house as a home away from home!

Easily the most beautifully decorated home we've stayed at, and all touches were in place to make the week stay while showing at Lamplight a great experience. Great proximity to the show grounds and a variety of restaurants. Host, Ninna, was lightning fast in her responses and communication. My daughters and myself felt safe and at ease in the home and neighborhood. Plenty of beds and bathrooms for us all make our own schedule and get rest/recharged each night after a long day. Absolutely recommend!

We had a great family reunion here. The home is beautiful, clean and well maintained. It is located close to the Fox River with wonderful parks and trails for walking, and easy access to both Geneva and St. Charles. The house was wonderful for our stay. Very clean, had all the supplies, plenty of towels and was so nicely decorated.We came to town for a horse show and it suited our families who shared the house.The patio was a nice plus!

Our family so enjoyed spending our Thanksgiving holiday in St. Charles. Our host was very gracious to ensure we had everything we would need for our family.Every detail was just perfect, the home was pristine, and our hosts even used a snowblower and salt to clean the driveway and sidewalk from the snow! This is a convenient location to explore the area - we definitely recommend!

The house was beautiful! Everything was spotless and they really thought of everything. It was walkable to lots of restaurants and there is a cute park across the street. There is even a grocery store a few blocks aways which was great too!Oh and the back deck was also a great place to hang out!Overall we loved our stay!

Our stay at Fox River View Retreat was great! The house was convenient to everything we needed. The house was impeccably clean, well equipped, and incredibly organized. Clean, well-equipped house in great location.

This was a very well-equipped house in a great location in St Charles. Very walkable to a lot of bars and restaurants, and also right next to the river and some parks. The house was very clean, and the beds were comfortable. Ninna was a super responsive house and very helpful. We would definitely stay here again.

We had a wonderful stay at Fox River Retreat in St. Charles, IL. As VRBO owners ourselves, we truly appreciated how thoughtfully this home was prepared—every detail was considered. The house was beautiful, spotless, and incredibly welcoming.We traveled with our 8‑month‑old granddaughter, and it was such a relief to find a foldable high chair, pack‑and‑play, and several other baby‑friendly items already provided. It made our stay so much easier and more comfortable.Communication from the hosts was excellent from the moment we booked through checkout—friendly, prompt, and helpful every step of the way. The location is fantastic as well, close to everything in a great area.We would absolutely stay here again the next time we’re in town. Highly recommend this home and these wonderful hosts!

This space was absolutely gorgeous. It had everything you actually need. For kids- a super clean pack and play, toilet seat, utensils, a gate at the top of the stairs (GENIUS) , table corner covers at kid height and I’m sure more we forgot to add. The downstairs area is perfect for kids to play. We couldn’t stop talking and laughing about “of course they have that!” Loved communicating with the host if we had any questions, she was so quick to respond.We will absolutely be coming back!
