House was charming and clean. Close to St. Charles, and lots of restaurants and shopping. We came in town for a horse show and it was perfect for our group of 4 ladies and 1 child. Very safe neighborhood and great parking. Only draw back is kitchen is small and a bit dated. But all the amenities were present and we did not come to cook. Would definitely stay again.

Overall, the house was fine for our weekend stay. The beds were comfortable, and there was plenty of space for our family of six. The home was generally clean, although the showers could use a more thorough cleaning.One thing we were surprised by was that the house is physically connected to a commercial beauty salon. This was not apparent in the listing photos, and we felt that should have been more clearly disclosed. Had we known ahead of time, it would have helped set our expectations for the property.Aside from that, the house met our needs and provided a comfortable place for our family to stay for the weekend.

I'll start with 2 positives. Beds were comfortable, good quality bedding. We appreciated the very simple check out instructions. But overall very disappointed. Perhaps should have asked why no photos of outside of the property. Surprised to learn the building is attached to a beauty salon. Not a noise problem but once when leaving a gentleman was leaning on the salon sign (close to the front door) smoking a cigarette. Outside of the building needs some attention; landscaping is overgrown and not a very pleasant welcome. Door code was for a "key box" and it's seen better days. Last time we used key box to enter a rental (opposed to digital code) was 10 years ago. Immediately noticed number of stains on living room rug. Daughter found a used contact on the night stand/dresser in her bedroom. When I opened the kitchen trash can the rim around the bag was very dirty. In downstairs bathroom before bed was surprised to discover toilet paper roll almost empty and there wasn't another roll to be found in the bathroom. After searching entire house (no spare roll in 2nd bathroom) thankfully found tp in dining room closet. House needs some folding luggage/suitcase holders. I moved vase of plastic flowers to the closet so I had a place to access my suitcase but that left barely enough dresser space for a glass of water. Location says walk to downtown but it's farther than we wanted to walk. Loved Geneva and hope to go back but will stay somewhere else.

House was clean and had room to gather for my group of all adults. Pretty welcoming gesture waiting for us. Convenient walk to downtown, quiet neighborhood. Except for slow moving drain in bathroom sink it was otherwise perfect. Not a new home but cleanliness is more important.

Cute house walking distance to downtown Geneva. The four bedrooms were great for our family - plenty of room to feel comfortable and hang out together. The host was very responsive and we had a terrific stay!
