Bonjour et merci de considérer notre retraite paisible dans les arbres. Tessie Mae et moi adorons accueillir des invités et nous ferons de notre mieux pour vous assurer, à vous et à vos invités, un séjour agréable tout en visitant Austin.
Nous ne sommes qu'à vingt minutes de la vie nocturne animée de la ville d’Austin à Austin Lake Estates (les habitants de notre pays nous référons à notre quartier sous le nom de Cuernavaca) niché dans le pittoresque Hill Country. Si vous êtes d'humeur à faire du shopping, à voir un morceau ou à dîner, la Hill Country Galleria n'est qu'à dix minutes. Que diriez-vous d'une randonnée? Commons Ford Park est dans le quartier sur le magnifique lac Austin.
La maison principale comprend trois chambres confortables (trois lits queen-size), deux salons confortables, deux salles de bain et une cuisine complète. Netflix, Amazon Prime, You tube TV avec Internet haute vitesse.
Détendez-vous dans le bain à remous tout à l’arrière, détendez-vous dans le hamac sous les grands chênes ou lisez un livre sur la balançoire. Tout est là pour votre plaisir. Une laveuse et une sécheuse sur les lieux si vous aviez besoin.
Le propriétaire habite dans un logement séparé situé à l'arrière de la maison principale. Il y a une clôture recouverte de jasmin asiatique dense entre les habitations pour assurer votre confidentialité.
Les chiens et les chats bien élevés sont les bienvenus. Un supplément de 100 USD par animal doit être ajouté lors de la réservation.

Steve was a great host. The house had everything we needed. It was a nice quiet neighborhood, we felt safe and it was only about 20 minutes away from the hustle and bustle of downtown. Communication was awesome. Any questions we had he answered promptly. We enjoyed our stay for a long weekend.

We really enjoyed our time at the Retreat! Steve was very responsive and thoughtfully left welcome snacks for us upon arrival. The hot tub was a big hit with our kids, and we spent time every day sitting in the yard enjoying the breeze and nature. The house was clean and well kept, and the neighborhood is in a great quiet location.

The property was accurately presented in the description. It is spacious, comfortable, and very clean. The hot tub is in good condition. It has a yard and secure parking. It is in a nice, quiet, neighborhood. There is an excellent, dog-friendly, Italian restaurant nearby (Patrizi's), so you don't have to leave the area for dinner. I will strongly consider booking here for future trips to Austin.

The location is good for Bee Cave and Austin with lots of places to eat and shop. The owner left some breakfast options for us, which was nice. There were only 4-5 forks so we had to wash them after every meal. The hot tub water was a little smelly so we only got in it once. Overall, we enjoyed our stay.

Thanks for staying with here at the retreat and taking time to write a review. I do wish you would of contacted me during your stay as I would of loved the opportunity to rectify your concerns. Im surprised the hot tub had a foul smell as it was fully drained and cleaned the night before your stay. I will of course look into this and purchase more utensils. Have a great summer and thanks for leaving the house in good order.

Perfection in every sense of the word. I left my pillow that I had brought with me and he had offered to send it to me, which was not necessary, but very appreciated. Steve was always easily accessible.

Wonderful stay in a great location

This property has beautiful landscaping, great artwork and a really accommodating host (Steve). He provided breakfast food for us, sent excellent directions for check in and made contact to ensure our comfort. We had Our small dog, and the fencing provided great security and privacy. Really enjoyed the stay!

Perfect space and location

We had an outstanding stay. Great music theme, all the amenities, Jacuzzi, and owner is a great guy. Perfect location for west Austin /hill country activities. We had a concert at One World Theater, minutes drive.

Great Home And Place To Stay In Austin

Spent the weekend in Austin with family at this wonderful home. The home was clean, in great shape, and everything was as described in the listing. The neighborhood where the home is located is quiet and provides a great place to explore Austin from. The Host was very communicative and accommodating during our stay. Additionally, he provided us with some breakfast food and water which was greatly appreciated. This is a great place to stay and when we’re back in Austin we will definitely stay here again.

Excellent stay!!!

This was the best experience! Three moms and our three adult daughters for our annual mother/daughter trip….our host was amazing and kind! The house itself was perfect for us. And…we got to hang out with Tessie Mae! ❤️ Highly recommend to anyone in the Austin area!!

Best away from home stay ever!

The property is fenced and very well groomed and perfect for our dog. The kitchen is well equipped. Home very comfortable too. Quiet and safe neighborhood. I walked daily at Commons Ford, so beautiful! Steve is the perfect host!!

I have been living in Austin for twenty years. I play music in Austin along with teaching tennis. I love my home and took pride and care with every improvement I've made since living here. I started hosting guests 10 years ago and have had so many great experiences.

I know your going to want and explore all that Austin has to offer and my home is only twenty minutes from the night life of downtown and a stones throw from The Hill Country (actually we are on the fringes of The Hill Country technically)
Lake Austin and Commons Ford Park (for hiking) are a mile or so away. Venture out to Zilker Park, Mount Bonnell, Wimberley, The Oasis, and Hamilton Pool. Old Fredericksburg is about an hour away if you want to do a day trip. There is so much to do in Austin the tricky part is picking!
Got the munchies? Try out the local taste of Petrizzi’s, The Civil goat , and Jojo’s.
are in walking distance from the house . The Hill Country Galleria walking mall with all it's shops is located only five miles away. There you will find many restaurants, bars, a movie theater, Starbucks, retail stores and Whole Foods, Austin's favorite Tex-Mex is in the Galleria just a sones throw.
