For the adventurous, the surrounding area is ripe with opportunities for hiking, local festivals, and quaint shops in nearby townships.

Blackstone on the Bluff is a wonderfully peaceful retreat while still being only a 10 minute drive into town. Take a step back in time with the picturesque views from the downtown strip looking into the harbor where you'll see boats pull in and out from Lake Michigan. This "old timey" town is packed with cute shops and restaurants. From the classic fudge/ice cream parlors of western Michigan to wonderful sushi restaurants, your palate is certain to be satiated with whatever you and your guests choose. Forgot your sweater for those breezy nights? Pick up some apparel from one of the many shops and local boutique in town. Head outdoors and be instantly filled with the woodsy paradise that surrounds the area. Take a bike ride or stroll down the famous Kal-Haven Trail. Connecting Kalamazoo and South Haven, this 35 mile trail is said to be one of the best in Michigan. With its smooth terrain and gorgeous views, it earns this title. Looking for adventure? Rent an ATV and take to the trails in a more invigorating way or take to the water with a memorable sunset sailing experience.

You and your guests will have access to the entire private property. With our keyless entry, you can enjoy a flexible check-in any time after the designated check-in time on your arrival date and guests can conveniently gain access via the smart lock.

Other Things to Note:

BEACH LADDER ACCESS: For environmental protection and minimal erosion this home utilizes a Dutch sand ladder system for beach access down to the private beach area along Lake Michigan. This is seasonal and unavailable from September through May. The ladder down may not be suitable for all guests. It is steep and requires holding onto the rails to go up and down. Please reach out to us if you have any questions about accessing the beach ahead of booking your stay! We're happy to help.

Bring your furry friends along on your next vacation! Please let us know in advance if you're bringing your pets with you. We happily welcome up to two dogs on our premises. A small dog guest fee charge will apply.
