Good place- it did however have a broken toilet seat when we arrived, but we dealt with it

The dishes in the cabinets were dirty-I had to run everything through the dishwasher. The grass hadn’t been cut and weeds were everywhere and going above the windows. The deck was rotting away. The living couch had a throw on it to cover the poor condition and there were dog hairs even though this is a non pet property. The dryer lint keeper was so bad , I had to scrap the lint out and soak it it in hot suddy water for several hours to get it clean. The pictures on the website are a joke. You make it look nice and it definitely isn’t anything like the pictures. You show a gas grill and the grill is a petite tabletop grill that may be big enough to hot 2 hot dogs. Bulbs burnt out, no covers on some overhead fixtures, ceiling fan that didn’t work. I totally got ripped off. False advertising to the maximum.

We stayed here as a group of 5 friends who were traveling around central Indiana for the weekend. The listing says 5 beds but there were only 4 plus a foam mattress. We made it work. Furnishings were sparce and host brought us additional coffee mugs when we told them there was 1 mug for 5 people. Everything was very clean for which we were very thankful! We had a great time.

More pros than cons, Nice house

Pros: Clean, roomy, nice beds, nice towels and bedding, good location especially if you need to be close to Plainfield, quiet neighborhood, A/C worked great, laundry pods provided, Brita filter pitcher in fridge was nice to have, excellent communication from property management.Cons: Needs more seating in living and dining, more dishes needed (especially since it sleeps 9), kitchen could be a little better stocked for those planning on cooking.Overall we enjoyed our stay and would stay here again in the future.

Disappointing

The only time I've ever left a VRBO. The home was filthy, dark and in disrepair! The host used a 3rd party billing system, asked for additional verification of my identity and an additional 50 (in addition to my 150 security deposit). The yard was unmowed and full of weeds. Lightbulbs were burned out in almost every fixture, the hall bath sink was unusable. Spiders in both bathtubs. Box cutter blades on the window ledges, mini blinds were taped up. The furniture was so dirty, we didn't want to sit on it. There was food on the floor. The HVAC intake vent was disgusting. The house had a terrible smell when we opened the door.

Nice but dirty and out dated

Check in/out process super easy! Kitchen is outdated and pro tip if you are coming with more than a couple of people bring extra paper towels and trash bags you only get one trash bag and one roll of paper towels. There is not enough cookware for a place that can sleep nine people message to the property owner because there were multiple blinds that were broken upon arrival and the ceiling fan in the living room does not work. The location is great, but would carpool if you’re able because there is very limited parking The floors were not very clean and turned all of our feet black and the bedding was not the most cleanliness and if you are a group of women that have not seen each other in a while like we were there are noise detectors in the house and you will get 1 million messages saying that there is a high volume And to keep it down which is hard whenever you have women that have not seen each other in a long time overall was an amazing stay but just needs better kept up with. It was also 87 whenever we checked into the house and did not go down until the next morning, so just be prepared that it’s going to be hot in there until you get the air turned on and bring a fan.
