Nestled in an idyllic hollow above Phoenicia and Shandaken, you can nourish your soul with sounds of the stream and birds and views of the pond and forest beyond. Then, when you are ready explore the heart of the Catskills and its endless hiking trails, fishing, tubing, and other outdoor activities. Browse the many antique shops, pick up fresh fruits and pastries at one of the local farmers markets, then unwind with a locally brewed ale from a local brewery.

The cabin is nestled in the heart of the Catskills and sits on a private road for quiet seclusion. At the same time, it is conveniently located near 3 major Ski Resorts; Belleayre Ski Center, Hunter Mountain, and Windham Mountain and is only minutes to the town of Phoenicia and short hop to Woodstock and several other quaint local towns for plenty of Antique shops, local craftsmen, craft breweries, rail trails, not to mention the World Largest Kaleidoscope. Of course you have the endless hiking and biking trails, fly fishing, river tubing, and other outdoors activities the Catskills are known for.

Our cabin has a large open floor plan making it the perfect space for family and friends to spend time together. You can be cooking in the kitchen, while others are watching TV in the living room, playing board games in the dining room, and still all interacting together.

*** Exterior***
Sip your morning coffee from the deck and relax to the sounds of the stream.

Outdoor grill for BBQ and play ping-pong and cornholes with families and friends.

After sundown, break out the marshmallows and graham crackers for some fresh roasted s'mores under the stars at the fire pit.

*** Other Amenities ***
We offer all amenities needed for a comfortable stay -- fully stocked kitchen complete with dishwasher, filtered water and coffee maker (filtered or Keurig), washer and dryer, Egyptian cotton bedding, two full couches, extra large dining table, large screen TVs.

Remote work is easy with upgraded high speed internet (400 mb/s), and dedicated desk area in each bedroom (shown in photos).

The outside of the house wasn’t as pictured. The deck furniture was strewn all over the deck and on the ground. There was a large hole in the middle of the deck in front of the door. A dirty hammock hung outside. Perhaps no one had been to the property in a while. The house was nice inside. We couldn’t figure out how to get volume on the TVs. Maybe the batteries were dead? It didn’t really matter though. The bedrooms were really nice and large. All in all we had a nice weekend, shopping in the small towns around. The kids loved the stay! That’s all that really matters. Thanks to Katie.

Cozy spot

This cozy house was a nice quiet getaway. I only wish I could have stayed over in non-snowy weather in order to use the outdoor fire pit!

Nice stay

Nice stay just a couple of things that could be done to make the stay better. The master bedroom door did not close correctly leaving privacy and issue. One of the bathroom doors had to be locked or it also would not close. Cleaning needed a little more attention when arrived and wiped down counters and tables the paper towels were dirty. We did have an issue with master bed tv not working and the owners did respond quickly. Also no tv in one of the bedroom which would be nice to have. Overall a good stay not much around the area to do but nice and relaxing!

Spacious and Comfortable Updated Creekside Cottage

Lovely and comfortable updated cottage in picturesque setting in the heart of the Catskills. Well-appointed, well-maintained, well-equipped, and comfortably furnished with plenty of room for cooking, eating, relaxing, and hanging out.

Secluded Escape

This cabin is ideal for those seeking an escape from the hustle and bustle of city life. Nestled among the mouy, the cabin provided plenty of peace and quiet with Mountain scenery. The place is well equipped with all the modern amenities The cell phone network is crappy however the hosts have a wonderful WiFi coverage throughout the cabin. Plenty of space around the cabin for children to play

Property great for skiing

Family and friends stayed at the cabin for a ski trip to Bellayre Mountain. The house was perfect for our trip. Clean, plenty of pots, pans etc for cooking. Nice secluded location but not a far drive to the Mountain. Would stay here again

Just what we needed!

This cabin is incredibly clean, warm and cozy. Everyone enjoyed hanging in the kitchen and open dining/living room. The beds were incredible and towels extra soft! Very close to belleayre and great restaurants! We will definitely return.
