Fully furnished unit with internet, washer and dryer in unit, and fully stocked kitchen for all your cooking needs. Free parking for 2 spots behind the unit, additional street parking by unit.

Everything in the home was mostly new. The home was very clean. But it was very, very basic. It was cold downstairs and hot upstairs. Most of the furniture didn’t match the pictures. Could use more towels, some rugs to wipe your feet on, on the main floor that doesn’t have carpet. There is no place to put luggage except on the floor

The townhome was a wonderful stay for our family vacation. The location was close to everything. Townhome was kept nice and cold on a very hot weekend. Plenty of parking in back. We were very happy to have a nice place to visit our alma mater.

This townhouse had everything we needed for a weekend stay for a group of eight. Plenty of space, good parking behind the unit, unit was new and very clean. Only thing was that the walls were a little thin and we probably annoyed our neighbors.

Easy Iowa City Rental

Went with my sister-in-laws to visit my niece for the weekend. We each had our own room. The place was very clean and had everything we needed. It was in walking distance to lots of restaurants and shopping and very convenient. Highly recommend!

Pros:• The property was clean and had ample room for a family, even if it was almost entirely without decorations like lamps, rugs, or anything on the walls. • There was enough bedding and bath towels. • The washer and dryer were nice to have since we were there for five nights. • There was ample parking in the back. • Walking distance to downtown is really nice. Cons: • It would have been nice to have a few more amenities in the kitchen if you are planning to eat there. There were only 7 forks and 8 large plates (just means having to do dishes after every meal for a group larger than four). Not a deal breaker, just not convenient. • Oddly, there were no wash cloths. Again, not a deal breaker, just a first for us and not ideal. • The couch was busted. Someone had clearly tried to fix it and then shim it up with what turned out to be three unopened packs of shims stacked under the broken part. Kind of hilarious, actually. • The lack of sound buffering: without any kind of floor or wall coverings in the downstairs, and only one busted couch, every noise sounded loud and echo-y. If you do bring your pet, or if you have noise-sensitive people traveling with you, you might want to keep that in mind. • Communication was nonexistent. I let the company contact know about the couch, and communicated a couple other things, and there was no reply. Maybe they didn’t reply because I wasn’t asking them to fix it, but I was surprised no one ever got back to me, at all.

Exceptionally clean, great location, safe, off-street parking, and walkable to lots of different things. The photos are very accurate, and the furnishings are minimal. The necessities are there, but we did not find the furniture especially comfortable. The beds do have Bambo mattresses, there are plenty of linens, and check in and out was very user-friendly. We had to add a person to our stay last minute, and the host didn’t add anything to the fees (I contacted ahead of time to make sure it was OK to change the booking from 2 adults to 3), which was really nice. Very spacious as well, and the first floor bedroom and full bathroom is terrific for mobility issues.

Our overall stay at this vrbo was very good. There was initial miscommunication and we were sent to the wrong townhome in the complex when we arrived. There was somebody else staying where we had booked. I could not find a phone number to contact the host directly on the vrbo website, so I contacted the 1-800 vrbo site. The customer service person was very helpful in contacting the host and getting the mishap figured out. The host got a hold of me and apologized for the mix-up. It was an unnerving chunk of time getting this figured out, but once we were able to get into the new townhouse everything else about our stay went well. The townhouse was very clean, the beds were extremely comfortable and there was plenty of room for our family. We will definitely choose to stay in this rental again when we visit Iowa City.

The townhouse was clean and very spacious. We had one issue with the door lock and the manager was responsive and it was resolved quickly. There were a few amenities that we are accustomed to having rentals stock standard that were not present. The online listing was accurate; we should have looked more carefully. The furniture was very low quality but serviceable. The smoke detectors malfunctioned during our second night and went off every couple of hours in the middle of the night and had to be reset manually. We had a very disruptive sleep.

PRO: Location, it was clean, off street parking and quiet area.CON: Minimal Furniture but matches pictures, Couch small and sits low to ground could only fit 5 adults but could sleep 8 in beds, one cabinets was broken notified host he didn’t respond, No Wash Cloths, pillows thin with 1 per sleeping spot (we only had 5 people so worked out), kitchen table was card table with folding medal chairs, Master Bedroom Smoke Detector removed and on floor of storage closet. Didn’t receive code so reached out hour before arrival with no quick response called VRBO and he did communicate saying glitch with VRBO but we stayed at 2 other properties during this trip without issue. My Opinion this was bought and furnished as a Rental with Minimal Cheap Furniture. Would not book this unit but will continue using VRBO.
